So what do people think, did Clarke play better today or Griffin? I personally think Clarke gives us more when Sandi comes back

I think when Sandi comes back only 2 of Kep, Johnson, Clarke and Griffin can play in the same team, assuming Johnson will play forward.
So probably both Clarke and Griff out

If Sandi plays next week, Id love to see Griffen stay in.
Just want to see what would happen if we sat Sandi at full forward for longer periods of the game.

Which one of you is picking Mellington to be out and which one is picking him to be in?

That's what frustration will do to ya!!!

Seriously, JVB has to go. West Perth players certainly don't want him playing in their team either. Mellors has been an emergency for a while, if Ballas doesn't come up for the game I reckon we should give him a go.

Roberton for Grover
Sandi and Kepler for Clarke and Griffin.
Palmer for Pearce
Balla for JVB
Mellington for Crowley
Roger for Crichton

JVB should come out, he's just got nothing! Occasionally he'll shut someone down but that's it. We'd be better off with Schammer out there at the moment.

I like Griffin to stay in when Sandilands comes back.

Chrichton should go out.

I have no idea who's fit so can't state who I think should come in.. Replacing Grover is going to be tough..

Or we could just bring back Neesham as coach, and those changes would be made automatically.

I wonder how Neesham would do as a coach these days? In all fairness he wasn't too bad and you'd think with a good defensive assistant coach he could get a fairly good game plan going.

Forward line is way too tall. We probably can't have both Kep and Johnson as forwards. Last year we didn't, and this year we tried to work around it by playing Johnson as a defender, but he has been awful. Harvey said the other day that maybe Johnson is a forward, but that was easy with Kep out. We certainly can't have Kep, Johnson and a ruckman in the forward line.

So when Sandi comes in it has to be Clarke out and 1 of Johnson/Griffen out IMO.

Hopefully Rhys worked on the things the coaches want him to do while watching all of those turnovers today!

If he doesn't get a game next week after that effort then he may as well pack his bags now and get an early start with Sheeds.

I think you'll find Walters, Houghton and Faulks are all listed as injured (at least test, a couple of weeks in Houghts' case I think). Would be great if we had that many available though!!

In - Everyone who is fit and didn't play this week.
Out - Don't care probably should be the same number that come in.

Actually, we might be better off dropping one or two more than we bring in - certainly, 20 (or even 19) fully committed players would have had more of a red hot go than today's 22 did.

Walters isn't injured, he's in the naughty corner with Palmer.

I hope those two can work it out with the coaching group and get with The Process. Your club needs you and that's what it's about; not about you.

Look let's face it, IF we make finals, we're gonna get smoked. I think we need to organize who to turf out and where our biggest weaknesses are in preparation for 2012. Ok so we need a big target up forward... CAN WE PLEASE TRY OUT THAT 190-SOMETHING cm GOAL KICKER, JACK ANTHONY?!?!? ffs!
Why did we draft him?! We put up with rubbish from other players every week!
Try him out!! If he's shit, put him in The queue of players on their way out... Right behind JVB, Johnson ( if he goes back to round 1- 10 form ), Crichton and bollenhagen

This:p

Reading between the lines I have a vague idea of what he has to work on. But seriously Mrs Palmers kicking has improved - confidence is down indeed but he is much better option than JVB/ Crichton/ Hinkley/ Pearce/ Boucovaz, and his skills cant be worse than DeBoer/ Crowley.

I don't think it's a turnovers thing (well not only anyway). He's OK (not great but OK) in disposal, it's something else - set up thing, positioning, defensive work, workrate etc. Don't really know what, but can't be just disposal .... can it

I'm disappointed that Clarke has actually been given some game time in this uncertain period for the club because I've liked what I've seen compared to the last time. I'd like to see him in action with Sandi and a more settled line up.

As a fan of Crichton, I'm finding it pretty hard to defend his game yesterday. Unforced errors (8 turnovers including 3 critical errors according to Pro-Stats) are just so costly when you're playing in defense.

JVB...I just don't understand what Harvey sees in him. I know we're light on for small/medium sized defenders that actually defend, but he really offers us nothing. Upgrading JVB instead of Pearce still baffles me. Having Palmer run around in the WAFL whilst JVB runs around in purple and white amazes me.

Injuries to Bradley, Sandilands and Silvagni will probably see the Clarke experiment in action for another week. With so many question marks regarding our young midfielders I'd rather we invested the time in Pitt, Mellington, Crichton and...well that's pretty much it given injuries.
