No goodI’d like to see Karpany get a month in the wings, and then if he’s no good at all criticise him from there. Bloke hasn’t played enough senior footy to know really what he can do. Looks a HFF and we’re a bit short on them

Hope that we give Brander a run if his WAFL form warrants it, we need a player of his height in the forward line in JK's absence (the ruckmen don't really count since each of them are only there sporadically). I feel like we already decided on Waterman as the replacement for JK a long time ago, and we haven't really given Brander and Mallen a genuine chance at that spot. Perhaps we could have even considered trialling Brander at FF and Waterman or Mallen as a 3rd tall. I know that Brander is in his 1st season and key position players have a reputation somewhat as slow developers, but as our 1st pick, I thought that he would've been given more of an opportunity. Unless there are flaws that the selectors think that he has, apart from being too young/inexperienced as a key position player.
Until form dictates it Waterman is clear selection at the moment. Mallen has been injured for a long time, he played a substantial amount of League football back in 2016 and not much since. Probably not rated high enough internally to warrant early selection.
Brander is taller than the rest but he's still going to be physically dominated by his opponents and hasn't played as a settled forward. I don't see the need to rush him in and experiment with three taller forwards, two who are inexperienced.
Similarly if Oscar Allen was fit we'd be throwing him the deep end ala Jack Watts if played at AFL level early in 2018.
Hes got a pretty shit sponser....I forgot Karpany even existed.
For the sake of football lovers country wide and for the man himself, Nic Nat needs to be traded to a team on the east coast.
He will be lost to football lovers country wide thru carrying the full load of holding up a bunch of no hearts.
If in doubt, check out the AFL'S best full forward, he took the load of nic nats abscence, that worked. It's an opinion not a troll
As much as waterman has his foot in the door and it’s great for his development he doesn’t just get guaranteed all the games prior to jk returning. There’s also benefit of giving Brander a game or two, if he’s performing or waterman isn’t and allowing both to have some early AFL experience to take back to the wafl.
McInnes would probably provide the best option to win games initially as he straightens us up a lot.
When he's played CHF due to Darling being injured, he's straightened us up so much. He hasn't necessarily played amazing but he has straightened us.Which is some hypothetical. I'm more than happy for Brander to sit in the WAFL this year, unless we've pegged him as a forward and East Perth have prolonged supply issues. But i wouldn't rush him in fear of that.
McInnes i don't consider an option, doesn't have the forward game. Sure he can get high up the ground but he's not an effective forward target at AFL level. Doesn't have the hands overhead.

Think it is the most likely outcome.Would anyone really be that shocked if we went with an unchanged lineup this week? Unless they try horses for courses style
Hi Eastern
I don't understand why Waterman is a clear selection. He is undersized and inexperienced at 19 yo. He will never be a CHF or FF. I don't know where he will end up but at CHF I think unlikely. Brander however is suited to CHF and personally I would like to see him given a run. If he is not ready at least play another full sized player like Fraser.

Not a troll, just an opinion #NATJAOFor the sake of cricket lovers country wide and for the man himself, Steve Smith needs to be traded to a country in the eastern hemisphere.
