Lovin the narrative around NN coming out of Vic this year...
Previously overrated spud who can't mark and needs to learn the game.
Now.... WC are far too reliant on him (pretty much what WC supporters have been saying for years)
But what team isn't reliant on their star players?
Love too see Geelong play a full season without Danger, Richmond without Dusty, Sydney without Buddy...
Eagles are too reliant on him he papers over the cracks of our midfield sad but true !

According to Marsdo, he hasnt been dropped since 2008-2009.. must have forgot how he was made to earn his stripes through the WAFL by worsfold in 2011.

Bottom line, hes bulked up 4kg to become a contested beast so leave him alone yall.

For the sake of football lovers country wide and for the man himself, Nic Nat needs to be traded to a team on the east coast.
He will be lost to football lovers country wide thru carrying the full load of holding up a bunch of no hearts.
If in doubt, check out the AFL'S best full forward, he took the load of nic nats abscence, that worked. It's an opinion not a troll
Strongly inverse post to username correlation.

Go and sleep it off buddy.

Well how r u meant to get experience without actually getting the experience?

People still talk about CHF as a position requiring special skill set? Why do you need a tall CHF? Half forwards’ job is to roam around, not take pack marks. When you say brander is suited to CHF, what special skill set has he to make him suited to that?
I believe we have had an undersized CHF for years. Has JD been the answer? Many would think not. At least let's have a debate about CHF.

Let's see how close I get to this afternoon's announcement.

In: Cole, Hutchings, Ainsworth, Brander
Out: None yet

B: Sheppard Barrass Schofield
HB: Hurn McGovern Jetta
C: Gaff Sheed Duggan
HF: LeCras Waterman Redden
F: Ryan Darling Lycett
R: Naitanui Shuey Yeo
I: Cripps Venables Masten Nelson Cole Ainsworth Hutchings Brander

Cole to replace Nelson as the only change. Nelson to go over to Melbourne, Hutchings to get some game time with East Perth tomorrow.

Masten wasn't shocking but still. What is the point in playing a 180 game veteran if you can blood a new player and lose nothing?

Bottom line, hes bulked up 4kg to become a contested beast so leave him alone yall.
He just needs to contest more beasts more often...!

Gary Lyon - NN can't mark!? What planet has he been on for last few years?
NN might paper the mids cracks (?), but he also inspires them, that was clearly visible on Sunday.
Cole : In . Is Hutchings too slow for Doggies?
Would like to see how Ainsworth goes and have a gander at Brander..

Hopefully Rioli and Cole in for Masten and Nelson.

I think it’d more beneficial for Ainsworth to have a block of games for EP dominating before we blood him. I’d rather play a full game as a primary mid for EP than have a 5 disposal game for WC.

Hi Eastern
I don't understand why Waterman is a clear selection. He is undersized and inexperienced at 19 yo. He will never be a CHF or FF. I don't know where he will end up but at CHF I think unlikely. Brander however is suited to CHF and personally I would like to see him given a run. If he is not ready at least play another full sized player like Fraser.

i think i might be having a stroke. I seem to be having a heap of problems understanding many of the comments in this thread, its like they are written in a form of pidgin English....

Who do you think moving forward will be the better fwd? Venables or Ryan?

Ryan for sure IMO. If this is for fantasy/supercoach purposes Venables has been pretty low output to date even runing through the middle at East perth

Yep RookiePick for Supercoach, i didnt get to see the game on the weekend, so i wasnt sure, both scored 38/37 so much of the same.

I'm honestly not sure how Brander is going to straighten us up, as if we'd play him like Hansen in 2005. Brander is obviously going to be the better target down the wings when it comes to contested marking, i'm honestly not convinced given he's a draftee that he has the running power and ability to consistently gain separation required to get on the end of a lot of uncontested marks. Not for a whole game.

Waterman is a better mark than Fraser, don't see what his size has to do with it. Wouldn't play Fraser unless we lost another Ruck.
