According to Marsdo, he hasnt been dropped since 2008-2009.. must have forgot how he was made to earn his stripes through the WAFL by worsfold in 2011.

Bottom line, hes bulked up 4kg to become a contested beast so leave him alone yall.

He bulked up last year and went away from his strengths being gut running. This year he has cut back, lost the bulk and wants to play to his strengths.

I posted aomething similar to this saying Masten was lost body shape wise. Not big enough to become a contested ball winner but now has lost his run carrying too much bulk. Needs to decide what he is and be it.

I think Sheed is the certainty from there, and I'd be surprised if they dropped Venables or Ryan after last week. Hutchings for Nelson maybe?

McInnes is obviously not going to play. Schofield not needed for match ups. Ainsworth can play in the WAFL for a bit longer. Don't think we need both of Hutchings and Nelson. Maybe there's a case for swapping Rioli for Ryan but I think the more options we have up forward the better right now. That and it would be silly to drop Ryan after one game.

Sheed, Venners, Ryan and Hutchings on the bench for me.

Just as long as Venables and Ryan are in the side. I'm backing our core 4 rookies in Rioli/Waterman/Venables/Ryan. The next generation of JJK, Shuey etc. Core of our team came around that same period 2008-2011 (Shuey/Darling/JJK/Gaff/Nic Nat)... I feel like these 4 rookies can be long term players too.

Just need to invest in them. I believe Simpson is doing so.
