You mean McMahon IN King OUT. Yeah, bound to happen especially after McMahon dominates in the midfield for Coburg.

What do we have to do around this joint to get Polo in?!

Re: Geelong Round 2 team

King before Polo.
WTF, I am just ****ing pissed off at this, Polo is bigger, smarter, more skilled and just ****ing better.
FFS what are these clowns doing

Relax....... He may be underdone, You don't sit in on the meetings, You have no clue why he isn't getting a game. For all we know he may be great on field but a real f..k whit off the field.

Everyone loveddddd King after round 1, So happy with him, then he plays bad and we hate him. Give the little guy a f..king break mate, Let him play first then make a judgement, He was injured last season, Now he isn't.

Richmond supporters love to hate their own don't they.

The snag has been telling all and sundry for some time now that the coaching staff see Polo as too slow and don't know where to play him in the seniors.

Do we have three debutantes on the bench?

Thursfield deserved to be dropped....gives us nothing and has been overtaken by moore and mcguane.

How the F**K does Tambliing never, ever, ever get dropped??

He must have some serious photos of wallace and ponies or the like!

The Polo exclusion is a mystery, as his pre-season form was excellent. Am prepared to wait and see how others perform. Rance is a player for sure. Plays with great endeavour, work ethic and desperation and has impressive athleticism. Thought Thomson might have been an inclusion but perhaps is injured. Can't say I've been overly impressed with Nahas and Hislop in their NAB Cup/Challenge games but good luck to them. Graham in for Browne is interesting. For mine Browne is a much better and harder competitor that Graham but Browne didn't do much last week. King could do OK if given a specific role to focus on - tag one of their mid-fielders. McMahon and Thursfield both had interrupted pre-seasons and looked very ordinary last week. Both should have been made to earn their spot through Coburg - as should every player resuming from injury. I'm looking forward to this game - a chance to show we have learnt from Rd 1's sloppy lacklustre effort. Go Tigers:thumbsu:

:)NO Polo ... as millions of others on here have already said ... WTF?????

It's official folks, Wallace has become exactly the same as a lot of his players ... that is, keen to go through the motions without ever being successful!!!

No f***** idea!!!

The guy has just lost me!!!

Perhaps Wallet wanted to play King on Stokes seeing as small forwards kill us and Raines is injured? Maybe now Stokes is out Polo will come in for King as really there is no match up anymore. Thoughts?

James Kelly, Cameron Mooney, Ryan Gamble
Paul Chapman, Tom Hawkins, Steve Johnson

No super small crumbing forward for King... hmmm.

varcoe?

as long as we dont use him as the release guy out of defence i can handle giving him a run on a crumbing fwd, but DEFENCE FIRST!! if i see him trying to break the lines and turning it over i'll spew up!!

look at the body size difference betwen us and geelong :o Polo is tough and doesnt shirk the contest....

Looking at that fwd line

James Kelly, Cameron Mooney, Ryan Gamble
Paul Chapman, Tom Hawkins, Steve Johnson

our def is going to have its work cut out. Really dont want to see poor rance playing on Chapman, any cats fan will tell you chapman has had his best preseason in yrs and is ready to explode in 09.

Heres one out of left field. This is the game I would like to see Jackson tried as a medium defender, i dont care what anybody says its as clear as day he isn't a midfielders a-hole. He is quick, he is very strong, he is agile, he is an angry ranga and he can play tight and he is a booming kick derrrr play him in defence on S.Johnson! sink or swim buddy, think he'd handle himself on the medium fwds better than anyone else we've got to be perfectly frank.

i would have gone polo for edwards. understandable that after a soft performance we have gone with some harder players. not sure about the skill level of the team though.

Exactly, the inclusions have dropped the skill level of the team down, even on last week. IF Edwards goes out last minute for Polo I actually think all the changes aren't too bad besides Gus in for Browne. Polo can play midfield and defence, hopefully comes in for King or Edwards.

C'Mon ease up on Tambling. He managed 15 touches last week, Franklin only managed 13 touches.(Oh and 5 goals:o)

Polo.....well not sure what he has done to TW to not get a run?

King the energizer bunny? well we will have to wait and see I guess:confused:

Lets not get to disgruntled yet

RND 1 2008 Essendon beat North Melbourne by 55 points and Essendon didn't make the finals while the Kangaroos finnished 7th.

All is not lost in RND 1:)

Where's Adam Thomson at? How did he go in the pre-season? Would have thought he would be getting a game now that Cousins is injured

Just a question Barnzy do you always give up on things so easily?

Perhaps thats the real problem with this club, the players see that the fans give up on them so easily so they think why shouldn't they do the same.

Re: Team v geelong-

This baffles me, if Terry doesnt like polo why didn't he delist him or put him up for trade.

Terry what is going on in that head of yours!!!!!!!

What are the chances that there is a late change and Mcmahon goes in. It's too good to be true.

Re: Team v geelong-

Those calling for Polo will only have to wait another week as the king of turnovers will ensure his selection..... even if its a week too late.

They haven't won a flag for 28 years or made the finals for 7 years. How much longer do you want me to give them? The changes today just prove the club is going nowhere. Coaching staff don't even reward form.
