Nelson getting a game to boost his trade value. After learning from the Brander debacle, the MC are going to play Nelson for the next 2 weeks and Simmo will talk up his solid game and hope like * the other 17 teams in the comp forget he couldn't break into the starting 22 for this absolute basket case of a team for most of the season.

Nek minute, GCS trade 2nd Rd for Nelson.

Great to see Bazzo back and Rotham get the chance to continue his late charge for the Coleman.
But Nelson over Winder is just baffling. Dude's the footballing equivalent of that giant Aztec head Mr Burns bought the Simpsons: whatever it is he does, he's doing it right now and it's not very impressive. At this point, why not play someone who at least has potential?

Some of those changes make me very ill.

Looks like they have run out of patience with Williams.

Kennedy managed ? wtf?

What's the point of Dixon up forward when we have Darling and Waterman already ? It's going to be raining for crying out loud you could say he's a straight swap for Kennedy but we should be seeing how Darling and Waterman work together.

This could possibly be the 2019 result but in reverse where we won by 91 points, ahh good memories.

Pencil Nelson in for 5 coaches votes.

How Nelson comes in is astounding. Must have pics of Simmo.

I would of turfed Langdon but Meh.

Clark & Winder stiff to miss out

cos waterman is bloody hopeless - when will this sink in. he woudl be crusifioed at FF

Which one of you campaigners is “Peter from Sydney”?

Decidedly convenient that Simmo’s line dropped out just when Haselby was asking Pete’s question about the selection of Nelson ahead of Winder…

Edit - from 10:28

We have a horribly constructed list for a team that'll be at the bottom for however long. A bunch of players late 20's early 30's with not a lot of talent in the 18-21 range.

I’d say we don’t have a lot of talent in the 40 to 100 games category. Instead give exposure to the 20 or less gamers. Nothing to lose.

At the extreme they may all show they are no better than Waterman, Nelson, Langdon, Witherden etc. But if they don’t get a fair run at it - in position - how can we be sure?

Plus - take every chance to ‘manage’ those aged over 28 who won’t play a part in our next PF.

That my friend is where your wrong.

All 7 will be there next year.
Which is what he effectively said - that all 7 would be in the round 1 side
