Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this happens.

I almost wouldn't play Howe unless he's 100% either, especially with the travel, although maybe the run in the legs will do him good.

Maybe no change again until Howe can replace Oxley.

Not sure about Murphy... do we keep him in?

Murphy was great today. It'll be a tough call between him and Murray. I'd keep Murphy in because he was cleaner.

The obvious inclusion this week is Howe in for Oxley. The first week of finals I am hoping for Treloar in for Murphy. Madgen stays I reckon. He is pretty composed and always puts in even if he has some weaknesses. We've missed the opportunity to play McLarty this year and we need to stick with the defensive group that is gelling together. Outside of Howe and Treloar it doesn't seem there is much on offer because of injuries.

Thought Murphy was good. Defence was really solid all day, particularly when the mids kept the pressure on. Can't recall any turn overs other than Oxley early?
Liked Murphy. Seemed reliable with the ball, and did some nice things. Probably not in the best 22, but would prefer him over Murray at this stage. Don't think our transition was impacted at all, and Crisp seems to play better without Murray imo.

I think if we win next week we are guaranteed top 4? Percentage would only be the difference between finishing third or fourth?

(But agree that playing Freo at home in round 23 isn’t a game we should take for granted)
