Take anyone else over who is a chance to play week 1 of finals as a spectator to get familiarised with the ground, travel etc. Highly likely we end up back there

Murray for Murphy is probably contingent on whether Murray is up for it. Even then, one or the other probably travels as the backup player. But otherwise, load up. Top 4, possibly Top 2, is sitting there on the table, just waiting to be snatched.

Even if top 4 was locked in I don't think it would be the right decision to rest players. There is already a bye before finals. Better to maintain players touch and team cohesion.

I would rather lose a quality player for the rest of the year (even grundy, pendles, de goey), than to miss out on the top 4. Pick the team most likely to get the win. If a player pulls up lame and misses the qualifying final then so be it.
