Yep understood TGG - it's the good old 'corporate speak' that has invaded so many sectors of life - give nothing away for any reason.

Probably just respecting his privacy, there’s precious little of that left these days with social media and the 24/7 news cycle driving an ever increasing intrusive journalistic culture.

If one player should be rested, it’s Hoskin-Elliott. Man’s not been right since the Essendon game and we need his cutting edge back in finals.

Murphy was great today. It'll be a tough call between him and Murray. I'd keep Murphy in because he was cleaner.

I agree totally -and if there's one thing our team needs it's a reliable kick or five. We don't generally like dropping players after a debut either so for mine (esp against Freo) Murph remains.

It’s looking extremely likely that we’ll be facing the Eagles in Perth in a QF... I think we have no choice but to play McLarty if Goldsack isn’t ready, we will just be far, far too small if we don’t. Probably time to give him a run against Freo. I know that debuting someone for a key role is silly, but we will be crushed by the Eagles if we don’t bring in some height.

Oxley is “stiff” in the sense that he’s done little wrong and performed his role, but Madgen gives us more flexibility with Langdon and Howe, IMO.

As we stand I don’t think JDG will get up and whilst I want to see Fasolo get a farewell match (barring injuries) Crocker was the one they went with earlier this season and I don’t think enough has changed since then unless Fas has found a yard he never had...



Because it’s not what happened. He played his role no doubt, but that’s an OTT statement. Absolutely no chance he gets dropped and nor should he!

Mayne doubled back to help Langers numerous times, it was why I thought he was our 3rd best

What is everyone's preferred defence heading into finals look like?

Do we get Goldsack, Moore and Reid back?

IMHO Moore and Reid are both too risky to bring in for a final. Goldsack on the other hand if gets himself right, his experience could be invaluable.

Murray I like his speed and how much he takes the game on. I think that outweighs his bad kicking.
