Changes for Round 6 v Adelaide

Adelaide are clearly the worst side in the comp and we would have to be very poor even by our 2020 standards to lose to them. We found the intensity last week and I suspect we will maintain it, the boys know they are home soon.

We only just beat Gold Coast last couple of years.

Our guys do let their egos get ahead of them.

Saying that they have no reason to feel that much more superior to the Crows based on this years results so far.

Those six games have all been outside of WA, including games at the SCG and Kardinia Park where we haven’t won in a decade or more, Brisbane last year when we got jumped, then the first three hub games when we had 15-20 players who played poorly.

So I don’t know how much you can blame him for that record.

The secret to beating them isn't too difficult. Yeo to hard tag Fyfe, Shep to shutdown Walters and someone to make sure Mundy is accountable. Don't think they have anyone else of note.

I actually think they function better without Fyfe in the middle as he just monopolises the footy too much and the others don’t have a chance to get involved. He should play forward and give the kids a chance to develop in the middle. They have some really good young talent - Cerra, Brayshaw, Serong, Tucker is a decent midfield IMO

BOTH our next 2 opponents are currently 16th and 18th on the ladder. (We're 15th )

BOTH have been decimated by injuries recently, to key players and spuds alike.

My fremantle work mate is stressing that they literally have no KPD at all now with Logue potentially out. Bit time spud Cox will likely have to play in defense.

Meanwhile we sold the farm and added Tim Kelly to a premiership list which won the flag less than 2 years ago, and our star ruckman is playing more minutes.


We've got our LAST game in the hub this weekend before it folds and we get to come home to friends, family, and hopefully (Don't be a doghole Mcgowan) a 60k Derby.




Now if JK, Darling and the Eagles alike can't drag themselves, and the club out of garbage to a respectable level over the next 2 weeks through all this, we might as well fold.


I mean it. Get Nesbitt out to front the media, get Vozzo out with him and promptly fold on national television.

I think people still haven't realised just how bad Darling has been in 2020.

Finally got to watch the game uninterrupted.

Out: Shuey (inj), Jones (inj)
In: Jetta, Cameron

Backline worked like a dream on the weekend so I’m loathe to change it up, but the midfield worked so much better once we have the correct number on the field, not one extra. Can’t do a like for like with Shuey as there aren’t any and it would imbalance things again.

Barring bringing in Brander in to move Redden inside, which I am not keen to do given what that means for the numbers, I figure get the experience and potential damage of Jetta in. Cameron for Jones is a no brainer.

I agree regarding the midfield mix, we were playing 1 extra mid all season.

However I think this was already rectified by bringing in waterman for brander last week.

When shuey went down Ah Chee moved into the middle to replace him for the rest of the game.

So i think bringing in a young mid for shuey should still keep us with the better balanced midfield (ah chee will go back forward).

Can also see the merit in bringing in jetta, however that would likely mean nelson/duggan goes into the middle.
