Going off past events it would appear so.
nope just the post above me. although you didnt say it it sounded like you know what is best for the club, and how to fix all the problems. and you also said RT also knows what's best by saying that he agrees the seletion commitee is making the wrong desicion. although he has not actully said that.

So you agree the selection committee make the wrong decisions yet you want Wallace and his crew to stay on for another couple years? Surely if they can't pick the correct players each week they really don't know their team very well at all and this lack of knowledge will lead to other mistakes in other areas.

So you think bringing in a player, who is a better matchup against the Swans is wrong?

Collins is listed as 72kg and against the Swans will get brushed aside like a ragdoll. Bringing in the bigger body in Raines is hardly making the wrong decision from the football clubs perspective.

From my own perspective I would prefer they give Collins a chance and see what he can do.

That is what I was talking about in my last post.

Mate you're not making much sense with those poorly constructed sentences. Plenty of people each week are dissapointed with the changes, they tend to get them wrong a lot. You realise people go to training and watch VFL matches just like the coaches? Actually scratch that, Wallace only attends for a quarter or two of VFL matches normally. Any smart person would know what our best options are in our current situation but it seems the club falls short everytime.

Raines may be a better matchup but that's about it. As far as I'm concerned bringing in someone with poor kicking and decision making skills against Sydney who suck up your time and space on a small ground and apply good pressure is just stupid. Raines is normally high up on the turnovers resulting in goals tally.

I didn't think that Raines has been that bad this year (NAB-Round1) and is still copping shit for his poor 07 season. Is a line breaker and more often than not will deliver the ball into F50 after a 15-20m run. On a ground like the SCG I think he along with McMahon and Newman could be quite damaging against the Swans.

of course people are dissapointed with some of the changes. but fact is the coaching staff knows alot more than most if not all supporters. agree wallace should be at the whole game but he doesnt and should not have to do everything at the club.

:)Part of you is spot on Barnzy ... the disappointment bit.
The average punter on here knows two parts of **** all about the team, match-ups, circumstances from the viewpoint of the inner sanctum and basically plays favourites.
Most of what you read on here is most people's biases shining through.
Anything less than 30 possessions at 100% effectiveness and the masses call for McMahon's axing.
A turnover here of there from Tambling will see the "F" word being postered all over here (that's F for Franklin).
Geez, Bowden racks up 42 possessions when the nine tenths of the rest of the team was useless and unable to win the God damn ball and they are baying for blood.
There is little logic.
Me, I am a huge Daniel Connors fan and would like nothing more to see him playing regularly at senior level and given an extended run.
Unfortunately, his effort against Melbourne gave the match committee every reason to drop him.
Yet a lot on here wanted him retained and Bowden gone.
Stupidity, Barnzy!! And not based on logic!!!

Well put Goldy. As much as I try and keep bias out of the teams I put up I inevitably find that it still gets through.

They might not want to risk Richo.

I think Simmonds will come back in just so they have a decent match up on Jolly. Graham would be able to handle the other ruckman. Jolly can tear you another one if you let him off the leash.

Pattison could rest in the forward line, JON to play out of the square. He has the speed, marking capabilities and the willingness to demonstrate "frontal pressure".

Other than that why change a winning formula. Unless of course Cotchin ready to go!

I agree, I think Simmonds should be brought in (*if he played well in the 2's) because Jolly is in top form and has continually dominated young inexperienced ruckmen this year.

I actually liked Gus' game alot last week and against another team I'd be happy for him to have another crack at the number 1 rucking position but against Sydney we need to make the smart move.

According to the Age it appears that Cotchin, Cousins and Raines wont be rushed back. Reading that I have a feeling we might just add Schulz into the squad as cover for Richo. Leave Graham and Patto to go up against Jolly.

In:Simmo / Out:Richo

Hopefully no truth to this but i heard it from a pretty reliable source.

Obviously not 100% set in stone even if this is the truth, i think if it rains they will bring in a small instead... well i would hope so anyway.

I actually thought if there was a change it would of been Thursty for Richo so we had a extra tall down back.

Or maybe even Schulz considering he can play at both ends of the ground.

Richo will play... saw him at The Eagles of Death Metal the other night. Although that was Sunday he reckons he was already told that he wasn't going to train until the end of the week but the injury is only a bit sore, no actual damage.... I got suck in a lift with him for about 3 minutes, hence the conversation.

On the upside, his girlfriend or fiancee' is Jade Rawlings sister. She is reasonably attractive, though Richo could do better - I'm sure she has a nice personality ;) . But she is a really tall girl, at least probably 6'1 or 6'2. So hopefully she pops out a litter of 6"5 Richo's soon.

Seen Richo now at Kings of Leon, Eagles of Death Metal and the Arctic Monkeys... a very fine taste in music

So... Richo's girlfriend is Rawling's sister and Richo's sister is Rawling's wife?

Maybe he was with his sister who is Jade Rawlings wife?

Well I don't about that, I didn't recognise the girl, but one of my friends reckons it was her. Maybe he got confused about it all? Either way, she was definatly athletic and for the good of the RFC, thats all i care about

As far as i know Jade Rawlings is with Richos Sister...
Richo had a girlfriend for a couple of years but they broke up a while ago, dont know who the new girl is.

There is my theory out the window. No Simmonds on extended bench
