Re: Changes for Round 7 against Melbourne

Let's replace half the team.

Swift and Fridge will do better than the lot of them.

Re: Changes for Round 7 against Melbourne

Nicoski will be lucky to hold his place. He runs into trouble often and his disposal is less than average.

Teams are locking down Kerr and we often end up using Selwood defensively that leaves Priddis and Rosa as our big possession mids - and they are slow as treackle, with modest disposal skills and average creativity .....

I saw this three weeks ago, yet the coaching panel still doesn't?

When Selwood negates we lose the game every time, our midfield is poor enough as it is and with Kerr negated and Selwood negating our centre square is less than one dimensional.

Staker on Pav in the last quarter and Pav scores a goal instantly. Why would you put the worst player on their best player when the game was to be won?

I've never liked Woosh as a head coach and again he was outcoached, by somebody as stupid as Harvey.

Re: Changes for Round 7 against Melbourne

Out: Staker, Hansen

In: Kennedy, Schofield

Has to be done.

I have held off on Hansen so far this year. But his poor goal kicking played a large part in us loosing. He has been poor with glimpses of average.

Needs to go to the WAFL and get some confidence.

I hope we lose to Melbourne by 87 points and Davey makes our defenders looks like the hacks they are.

We are on ****ing train tracks out there!!

Seriously, that was ridiculous.

What will happen is this...

"Oh a great effort by the Eagles to bounce back from the disatrous derby defeat and beat a couragous Melbourne by 25 points...."

"It was a case of de ja vu for the Eagles at half time as they kept the Dees in the game with just 5 goals from their 14 shots at goal for a 17 point lead but a good final term of 4 goals to 2 wonthe game for the home side"

BOOKMARK IT.

GTFO dude. You've been carrying on with this shit since 2006. Just DROP IT

Hansen OUT Kennedy IN

Almost tempted to start another poll to vote on banning Cuzz from the board, his constant negativity is ****ing annoying

I don't disagree

I am stunned.

But seriously, bring Spang in. Tearing it up at WAFL level.

Houlihan if he has a good game would have to be a good chance. Scho if he keeps up his form.

Hansen's no good, never has been and never will be. Going to the WAFL won't do anything for him, he's playing at his peak right now. Pretty ordinary isn't it? Surely they've got to bite the bullet and get rid of a lot these hacks now - Hansen (no.1), Nicoski, Embley, Staker, Hunter, Brett Jones, even Wirra skating on thin ice after this shocker

Careful! When I told him what I thought of him and backed it up with quotes from his negative past, he complained and got me banned.

As I said at the time, he adds nothing to the Board and still famously announced we couldnt win the flag about 2 weeks before we did.

I hope I said that nicely, as he will inevitably report the post.

We were shit today, but that doesn't justify Cuzz09 and his pointless negativity.

Time is rapidly running out for a few premiership players of 2006. Fletcher will really struggle to come back, and Stenglein was dropped this week for the first time in his 5 year WC career.

For mine Embley & Hansen should be looking over their shoulders next. Beyond that, Brett Jones & Hunter aren't looking overly settled at the minute.

Hansen chased better and laid a few tackles today, so it was an improvement on previous weeks' second efforts if nothing else. Seeing as Kennedy is unavailable (TBC) I think he will play against the Dees. Embley again had bugger all influence on the game, and the less said about Staker's performance the better. When I watch Pavlich standing in 15m of space 70m from goal receive an uncontested possession, stroll to 60 and drill a crucial goal for obvious reasons I don't like it. When I see the above happen and his direct opponent Staker is 15m away casually jogging towards him I find it incredibly frustrating.

i didnt watch the claremont vs peel game but looking at the stats
i doubt scohfield will get a game next week he only got 9 poss and a goal and like wise with ebert because he only had 13 touches.

Pfft, like West Coast have been rewarding form much this season anyway.

Hansen is finished. Nothing against the big bloke as he's been a great servant to the club and he's a great clubman. But he will never put on an Eagles gurnsey again.

OUT: Hansen, Staker

IN: Spangher/ Kennedy, Houlihan

If Kennedy is fit - bring him straight in.

If not - swing Mitch Brown to CHF and replace him with Spang-dawg (as the third tall).

I'm glad they perservered with Hansen for this game and that Kennedy was not fit today because if anything it highlighted that Hansen can not produce anything when the pressure's on.

And I'm sick to death of ppl saying that nobody else would have done anything given the delivery. The fact is that ANY decent CHF would have done something over the past 6 games. Hansen could not even get into the game when we were dominating.

Disgraceful.

I think that this season Woosh seems to be very much thinking about the future. He does not drop players straight after a bad game and does not bring them in straight after a single good one either.

But I think that once one of the older players (Fletcher, Stinga) gets dropped, its likely that they would not come back for the rest of the year.

Its just a matter of trying to find the right mix. Not just focusing on this season.
