Thought about bringing Schoey back and throwing Gov into a forward/ruck role again but he's just too valuable in the backline. And McInnes is in reasonable form. This is basically the exact situation we kept him around for.

Mutimer to get another run if he's fit.

Vardy is a concern and it sounds like he's going to miss next week at least. Mcinness is the only ruck help we have - fortunately his recent form at EP has been decent. So it's him or a Giles solo against Ryder and we bring in another runner

Duggan also had a bad cork so he might be in doubt as well

Injury list is reaching critical mass where we just don't have enough quality to cover them all

On a positive note Rioli told my son yesterday he's hoping to be back playing in 2 weeks

we need to pick the best team to beat port.
Mut was completely out of it last night, his stats may show different, as may the coaches assessment but on TV he has a labouring running style, was yards off the pace and could not chase (I thought his pressure was a positive)


As for being in the midfield he was operating goal to gaol so this doesn't seem to be a role change that would elicit a different performance.
