They are around the 80% mark of consistency. It's pretty much yes on Shuey but need him to perform when the side struggles. It's the quite patches that he needs to work on.
Yeo isn't yet. I want him to be consistent throughout the whole year.

Forget last year did we. Been good so far but a stretch to stay his ever reliable.

We, as the WCE fans, sometimes get frustrated by those "lack of effort" losses by discredited all players as poor performer, especially when we cannot be in Melbourne, but watched the game just in front of the TV boxes. The Hawks and Tigers‘ games were the bad examples.
However, if we trust the independent judgement from the AFL, the fantasy points statistics show Yeo and Shuey are at the top 3 of the WCE

R1,R2,R3,R4,R5,R6,TOTAL

GAFF= 144,115,107,97,88,109,660

KENNEDY=125,67,59,83,70,120,524

YEO= 120,103,81,116,73,152,645

MVGOVERN=92,82,49,95,91,98,507

SHUEY=93,144,100,132,119,110,698

Thought he was alright when he played that run of games for us a couple of seasons ago. He straightened us up a bit. Hopefully he can play well. :)
I seem to recall he had a decent game against the Saints in Melbourne. But otherwise my memory is pretty blank.

EDIT: Here's the game - http://www.afl.com.au/match-centre/2015/8/stk-v-wce

15 touches, 8 marks, 3 tackles and a goal.

We smashed them and Jack Steven missed the quadruple double by one mark.

It always the day of selections they announce it.

Fine with giving Mcinnes a shot if we think he is capable of pinch hitting in the ruck. Teams are not playing two ruckman this year like we do with Vardy and Giles. If we could use Vardy as an actual forward it could work but i think Mcinnes has bit more experience in that role in the WAFL. We could then use Darling as that third tall where he can link up play around the ground.

In: Mcinnes
Out: Vardy

Butler Barrass Shep
Hurn Gov Yeo

Masten Priddis Gaff

Darling Mcinnes Mutimer
Hill JK Lecra

Ruck Giles Shuey Mitchell

Wellingham Redden Duggan Sheed

"We never come up against form teams playing well and beat them because we are better.

Sure, Adelaide had won 12 of 13 coming into our round 23 clash and played shit, bit that doesn't count because we're their nemesis. Or something.

And the week before that we beat Hawthorn who had won 10 of their last 11 but that doesn't count because they were 'cooked'. Plus we had NN. Even though he did his knee halfway through the match.

And the week before that we beat GWS who had won 7 of their last 8. But that doesn't count either because we had NN. Even though he wasn't our best player that day, Shuey was comfortably. It doesn't count because ... reasons."

You see why we're questioning your previous statement?

You just think your so so smart coming in here spouting truth and stuff, don't you ^^

I'm still right.

Guessing you have inside word?

Patrick Keane usually tweets them on a Thursday so we might not see confirmation til tomorrow.
Yea pretty much. Was told announced today but could be tomorrow. Expect Duggan and Vardy out for a week. Mortimer fit to play.

Sorry should have said Vardy 50/50. No idea sorry. My guts telling me Jetta is due for a game. But that's just what I think. Doesn't deserve it.
Hopefully not.

Best in Karps to play Mutimers role and Mutimer to play Duggans role if Duggan is out.

Hopefully

There is a certain truth to his comments to though.
When was the last time we legitimately travelled and played better than an in form side and dominated them away from home.
His points about those three are valid.

Gws took us lightly and shouldn't have, they thought they iced the game many times only to relax and us coming back at them. Once they floored it again we werent a chance. Then in the last they did it again only to be shocked by our win in the dieing seconds.

Hawthorn were cooked most of the year and won something like 9 games by less than a kick so coming here and winning was no chance for them.

Adelaide were in form but again took us lightly and by the time they decided to show up it was over.

The last substantial win I remember against an in form team away was Carlton in 2011 when they were up and about and we took them apart at the mcg. There have probably been others since but memory fails me.

I remember the days when we used to travel and play top sides and match them in a powerful struggle, much like the Sydney games in the mid 2000's and come away with a win. Round 1 2007 comes to mind.

Going back further against the Saints in 2005 at the mcg with their full midfield up and firing we took them apart.

Nowadays we come up against a shit hawthorn side who can't beat their way out of a paper bag and we get flogged. Nowadays we usually mark it down as a loss travelling against a top side on full flight

Looking forward to a time we can dominate again away against in form sides going full throttle.

So if we do happen to beat Port on the weekend it won't be because we played better than them but because they took us lightly like GWS and Adelaide did last year

They were in form but "took us lightly".

What does that even mean?

Not sure.
I don't know how port are really travelling. Do you?
They haven't made the finals last two years so it's hard to read them right now.
Too early in the season?

Well I can't predict the future so I can't answer that question.
