Anyone watch the Buckley presser after the game. I couldn’t hear the question properly but thought he said Pendles won’t play this week either. Could have been Maynard or Reid but sound is awful for the ones asking the questions.

Does anyone know who Bucks was referring to?

Ok I am thinking definite outs Moore and Howe, maybe Phillips a nd maybe Pendles out again.
Definitely not in Reid and Maynard also prob Langton.
Assuming worst case scenario.
Out Moore Howe Crocker
In Faz Mclarty Sier

He was referring to Reid. Pendlebury expected to play.

Seemed like Howe expects himself to get up for this week. Hope that's the case, with Maynard already rule out. Any word on Langdon?

What is wrong with Maynard and Langdon? You never seem to get any real information on either of them.

We cant afford to lose Phillips for this game. Wells should be better for the run (please...). McLarty has to come in now, with Moore out. And I'd give Daicos his first game for the season.

So Moore and Crocker out.
McLarty and Dakes in.

Sier might also debut.

You have a point on Broomhead but Phillips was injured well into the third and our look up forward was still terrible with him on.

Phillips played 40-45% game time, about 1/2 his usual TOG. And let's not forget that our transition in this game was arguably our worst for the season so that's as much a factor in F50 entry as the make up of our forward group.

I don't disagree with your point on structure, I just don't think it's as simple an issue as you suggest. It's generally a confluence of varied factors.

I would've thought Carlisle would get that job? Or is he out?

I'd have thought they prefer Carlisle further up the ground with some freedom to intercept. I'd be confident they'll play Brown on Cox when he's forward. Should be an interesting battle given Browns inability to get off the ground and love of bodying opponents out of contests.
