What is hamstring awareness anyway? I was aware I had hamstrings years ago is that why I’m not in the AFLW? Or maybe because I’m built like Kylie Minogue with less muscle definition?

Our bottom six is what costs us games.

I don’t mind playing kids. When we play kids when we have the likes of Crocker and Mayne running around. That’s where it hurts us. Too many non contributors/
Non influential players

So you’re not available to play as a CHF?

Sounds like he is more of an in-and-under bench warmer based on his self-description, ifyaknowwhatImean...

It's the trendy label for a low-grade hamstring strain - ie. one where you can feel a bit of a niggle in the hamstring but it's not really affecting function.

In days gone by most players would have ignored that little niggle and played on, with a likely outcome of tearing the weakened area of hamstring further, but now players (especially those who have had hamstring issues in the past) are educated to come off if they feel anything in the hamstring at all.

She I think

Ahh yes my bad - sentiment is still the same though, likely to be getting mauled at the bottom of a pack most of the time when they're not warming the bench...

I think it's putrid by the club for Langdon to be a 'late' out and then go on to miss the next 2 and more than likely 3-4 games, with no explanation.

He's been carrying something for a while I reckon if he has leg "soreness" - I agree that's its shit by the club to not say what it is but I have no issue with not playing him.

2-3 forced changes likely this week so I don't think we'll be making many omissions.
So now it might be:
Out: Moore, Howe, (inj) Phillips (precautionary)
In: Mclarty for Howe, Fasolo for Moore, Pendlebury for Phiilips
If Phillips plays then scratch Fasolo.
Could do Crocker out for Daicos and Brown for Sier but think it's unlikely.

What’s wrong with Howe?

Please no Crocker or Blair for the rest of the year. Break glass emergency players at best.

Flick Mayne as soon as we get senior blokes back from injury.

Sick of these list cloggers being named so early in the season. If Oxley is the next to come back I'll spew.

Gotta blood Sier and McClarty while we have this run of crap opposition.

Preaching to the choir I know, but geez it's frustrating.

There is no doubt the Pies are currently HAMSTRUNG at present similar to most other Clubs except Richmond & their turn will come. The root cause of the problem appears to go further than just player management. The Maths & Science approach by Coaches implemented for current Game Plans requires players to sprint a mini marathon each week. A marathon runner doesn't sprint the journey & requires substantial recovery time.

In the good old days players played in their positions & didn't have to sprint all day to Point A,B or C etc with every other player on the field to fulfill their Game Plan. The game as a spectacle is akin to watching AUSKICK Primary School Children all chasing the ball without any fluid direction. To make matters worse this style of play has filtered down to all the Suburban & Country Leagues as their Coaches seek to emulate those at higher levels.
I like the majority are loathe to adopt Rule Changes to fix the above however something needs to be done to not only fix the Game Plans causing unwanted congestion but also to reduce the soft tissue injuries that have become a blight on the Game.

Again knowing what we might know (very fluid)

Injured: Moore, Howe

Some doubt but likely ok: Phillips

Still not ready: Pendlebury, Langdon, Maynard.

In: McLarty, Sier, Fasolo, Greenwood

F. Greenwood Cox Fasolo

I. Sier Thomas Mayne Stephenson
