Again knowing what we might know (very fluid)

Injured: Moore, Howe

Some doubt but likely ok: Phillips

Still not ready: Pendlebury, Langdon, Maynard.

In: McLarty, Sier, Fasolo, Greenwood

Out:
Moore, Howe (injured), Crocker, Brown.

New: McLarty, Sier.

B. Murray Dunn Appelby
HB. Varcoe Scharenberg Crisp
C. Sidebottom (c) De Goey Phillips
HF. Hoskin-Elliott McLarty Wells
F. Greenwood Cox Fasolo
R. Grundy Treloar Adams
I. Sier Thomas Mayne Stephenson

E. Mihocek Daicos Brown Wills
Would be over the moon with those changes.

Really hope Tommy P gets up. Criminally underrated/ unfairly panned (by some) on this board. Tracking upwards fast.

I remember the club saying that they took the footys out from the start of preseason, rather than later, which was the norm before and they focused on ball work more. Something has gone seriously wrong here with the players fitness.

Obviously some terrible choices -- not to have the operation on Elliot's ankle for one. But yeah, I just don't know what they've done wrong -- but something!

Too many unknowns at this point: Maynard, Langdon, Phillips, Howe etc. What I have are random thoughts (are there any other kind?) instead:

Out: Moore (inj)
In: McLarty
Moore is definitely out and so I'd definitely like to see McLarty play his first game. I wouldn't be expecting too much from him early on, but I still think he can give us some exciting moments.

Out: Crocker
In: Brayden Sier
I think we need to keep De Goey steaming out of the forward line as much as possible, as long as the supply is steady enough. With JDG in the forward line, I'd like to see Sier debut as well, to see his big-bodied efforts around the stoppages. As for who gets omitted to make way for Sier, Ben Crocker seems a likely candidate, although this is hardly a like-for-like swap. I rate Crocker's ability to put pressure on opponents and to shut down space, and his work rate can't be questioned, but it needs to be accompanied by other virtues.

Out: Brown
In: Pendlebury
I'm assuming/hoping that Pendles will be back in, but I'm not sure who makes way for him or for Sier. Brown looked out of the contest last week, and I'm not sure that his body of work this season is good enough to save him. VFL football is all part of the learning curve for him, though.

Just Watch Saints be Dead Eye Dicks in front of Goal against Us after being so Terrible

What do you guys wanna do for my 10,000th post?

Maybe organise like a studio 54 night or some shit like that. Ultra conservative for me but a once in a lifetime opportunity for most on here re.

Thoughts?

Can I be on the guest list re?

Why didn't we revert back to what has been working?

Forward line in Mason Cox with small forwards surrounding him, I don't think we should have tinker with the game structure per say, so please don't change this week. Josh Thomas has kicked a few goals playing as a small forward, he needs to remain a small forward in this structure.

Out: Moore, Brown
In: Pendlebury, Daicos

It's time to put Daics in for his first game of 2018, he would like to play some footy at this level sooner than later before his dad has a heart attack. Being close to selection over the last few weeks has to see him break in this week.

Really concerning for the kid.

This is exactly what I'm expecting this weekend. They'll come good and it'll probably kick start their season.
No chance. If the outs go as expected. They'll lose Gilbert/Carlise. Thats their entire backline. Bailey Rice will come in for a debut for them.

Looks a good team just not sure on how fit Greenwood is after only one VFL game.

For once you'll get to see what the standing side of the glory hole looks like.

Maybe they’ll want that bit of experience as a few changes.
And greenwood is more upside that say number 11.
