I dunno. That sounds like the same logic that said the Vics playing Dunstall and Lockett in the same team against SA in 1989 wouldn't work. That's the point, we can't.
What do we do with Ollie when he's not being Ollie? Then what do we do with Ah Chee when Ollie is being Ollie? Ah Chee coming on as sub and helping out at 3/4 time is about right.

Hammer: Needs to lift his work rate, just not good enough this year but I don't think we have anyone better to replace him. Not going to argue with you guys about his work rate.
a lot harder tbh.You might not want to argue, but making statements like this when Hamish is having a year statistically equal to last year (which was considered his career year to date) is just ridiculous. Coupled with the fact he is top 3 in tackles (1 off the lead) i must ask, how much harder would you like the bloke to work?
Really? I thought Nic Nat took more marks against the crows the other night than Lobbe all year.Lobbe has taken more marks than Nic Nat this season
Nic Nat towels him in just about every other stat category though...
So does Josh Carr. Can we play him this week?Hammer has a very good record in Showdowns
Harder than that... He is capable. He has his moments in bursts...a bit like the whole team atm.. If he can be consistent over the 4 quarters that would be ideal. Stats dont always tell the story and especially that of his opponent who at times has consistently got the better of him.You might not want to argue, but making statements like this when Hamish is having a year statistically equal to last year (which was considered his career year to date) is just ridiculous. Nah can't play all of Jacko, Bobby, Hombschy, Clurey, O'Shizzy and Stewie (who imo is at his best in the backline) in the sideOut lobbe
In carlile
Amon gets a chance to redeem. Otherwise krak
Agree totally. O'Shea to Betts and Hombsch to Walker, gives us a better than even chance to win the game.Yeah I know but I think you need to stop Betts from marking the ball as much as his ground level trickery. O'Shea spent some time on the Collingwood small forwards and they were pretty much a non-factor. Jonas has gone to Betts a few times and has done alright on him with his physicality. No guarantees about Jonas being back but O'Shea could do the same job. Hombsch, Trengove and Clurey go to Walker, Jenkins and Lynch.
And I like Impey being able to push up the ground a bit and give us some of the run we've lost with Polec and White being out.
It's also more that Hamish hasn't stepped into the elite bracket statistically (>25 disposals per game, more goals etc) and he still has inconsistent form from week to week. He's probably not going to become a regular 30+ possession winner per week, but if he hits 23-24 possessions consistently, and uses the ball as well as he can, then he's still a real weapon.Harder than that... Also in terms of those stats they are averages of one being after 22 rounds and the other half a season.. Its a little skewed
lol why is the showdown on in the afternoon on Sunday? This fixturing isn't even a joke, it's so far out of whack it's unbelievable.

Harvey... Why? He wont ruck.Out: lobbe and Stewart
in: Krak and Harvey
Sub: Amon
Done
He is averaging 32 hitouts, 6 tackles, 3.6 1%ers. These are basically the same numbers as last year. He's actually doing way better when you consider he has to share the ruck with Ryder now.Lobbe was a tackling machine last year, this year he looks like he's afraid to break a nail. Something is up with his fitness, he needs a rest. He's a liability if he can't take a mark or lay a tackle.
