Wouldn't have bothered me if Karlos had stayed in the team but it is what it is.
The crows have been exposed by outside run by the Bullies and GWS. They're not a quick team.

Yeah lets trade ebert to another club most likely interstate, slim chance he would go to the crows. not like he wanted a trade specifically to port in the past to stay in his hometown or anything like that.

I can agree with your comments with regards to Thomas Jonas. He was a BEAST last year, "THE GLOVE" but this year not to much. Therefore drop him to gain confidence and rest his injury. Bring him back when he is 100%.

Ebert on the other hand has never been a beast. He is not creative. His decision making is just wow ridiculous at best. We can do better. I'm not asking for a Fyfe or Pendlebury performance form him because he will NEVER be that good. But for crying out loud, hit a target mate!

Agree with Ebert , been going on for months , if anyone gets dropped to the ressies after playing poorly for a few weeks they would have a legitimate reason to mount an unfair dismissal case using Ebert as example of previous company policy,using there's nothing to replace them with won't wash anymore, nepotism at its worse. Also feel this is it for Youngy , stuff up and bye bye .

Wow you've got a good memory , but really , ANYBODY that plays so poorly for so long needs to have been given a spell , not being even handed or showing bias usually ends in tears at football clubs.

Good is under selling it. Best player in 2012, very good in the back half of 2013 after being moved back into midfield, and arguably our best player last year up the the Sydney game.

That's the thing though , you say " at best" , he hasn't played well for ages . We are playing for our lives now , this season , 2015 , and he is a major reason we are in the position we are in, i'd guarantee anybody else playing so poorly for so long would have been given the nod ! , he's used up any points earned previously a fair while ago.

Just to set things straight , I honestly hope he gets BOG and we win and I have to come on here and praise him , I really do , if he is the one to get us over the line that would be fantastic , but his efforts these last couple of months have been sub-par , especially so as a VC of the team.

I thought last week we played more contested in the first quarter, especially out of defense, slowed it up, and looked for options, I gather less run more contested is what your after? And maybe coaches are too? Almost sense game style has been tweaked lately. I think we will win well, it's been coming slowly but who knows this year.

Yes in a good sense. If we lack a bit of outside run and that's probably where we need to build a bit more depth, then crush them with fierce contested footy. I know we look a bit physically lighter than a few teams but we look our best this year when we tackle hard and quick and crush the other team's run. Adelaide don't handle pressure all that well and can turn it over in dangerous spots.

Young has come in on the back of 11 tackles and 11 clearances last week, he has to bring that sort of effort to the game this week. Krakouer didn't look to me to do anything much different to what he's served up and so been dropped for, a lot of camping deep in the defensive 50 and giving out dinky little 30m sideways passes. But he oozes class and might get a job on Cameron or Betts during the course of the game.

We have to make them hesitant and take advantage of that with clean movement. One grab footy makes you look a couple of yards faster than you are.

When I think Ken I think exactly what your saying, when I think down hill skiing I think Burgess... Harsh? probably, but we look better playing hard nosed Port football. I'm going to stick with a good win coming up and the turning point for 2016 had probably begun.

At the end of the day Burgess is a fitness guy not a gameday coach. His job is to get them as fit as he can. I think he went a bit too far with their endurance capacity this year at the expense of some physical size. As I've discussed I'm hoping they recalibrate a bit for next year.

From what I've seen on the boards today Shaun Hart has basically said Amon was dropped for not going hard enough at a couple of contests. Good, there's a hard lesson to be learned and the coaches have made the call. Others have been sent back to sanfl to improve aspects of their game. I expect Amon to fix up that issue and come back a better player.

Young is really hard at the contest but has to get his skills up to scratch or he'll be labelled a 188cm Tom Logan. Be good to see him just go and get it in this game and give a bit of run and spread.

I'm expecting Krak to find players coming out of defense and hit his targets. Last week we did that and once we got to forward 50 we seemed to wildly run forward, as the game wore on we fell into bad habits turning it over coming out of defense, we seem to good at that this year..
