Yup, what I haven't been impressed with is his ground level contest work and kicking.

It's comical that McKenzie can't get a game with all of our current outs. He's actually a very versatile player and could fill just about any role yet he's being pigeonholed as a key defender only whilst we play the likes of Mayes and Woodcock. It's actually beyond a joke.

Have to watch tomorrow to be clear of the ins but right now our half backs in Dbj Hartlett have had poor years. Dbj gets by on workrate but Hartlett has to be dropped. Lienert has been in excellent form all year from memory. Mayes has played himself out of the afl much less team. Woodcock is a bit of a nothing player. I’m not sure we can carry Frederick if we’re not winning.

ladhams doesn’t deserve games but I also think playing dixon and Marshall in the ruck isn’t working out well for them or our structures so a ladhams for woodcock swap makes us better structurally even if ladhams does nothing more than an inanimate object would.

Surprised so many people want Bonner in, most (including me) thought he shouldn't be allowed near a Port guernsey last year and I didn't see anything special from him earlier this season to change my mind. I still think he's an uncompetitive panic merchant and wouldn't even consider him until he strings several very solid SANFL games together.

Marshall has one poor game playing on the end of a midfield that was soundly beaten and the worst forward entry since 2019 and people want him dropped? He's made too much good progress this year to throw him out now. Marshall stays, so does Motlop. Both have a solid enough body of work this year to warrant the right to make amends for tonight. And Georgiadis was no better than Marshall. Admitedly i turned it off 20 minutes into the third quarter so maybe Marshall murdered a grandma in the crowd or something and i missed it, i dunno.

Hartlett is first on the chopping block but Hinkley won't do it. As a minimum he should be made to run laps of Alberton nude and carrying bricks for an hour on monday.

Cant replace Marshall with Hayes. Just because they are similar heights doesn't mean they play the same role structurally
