I didn't hear Douglas' name for the Bays but Torney was named in the back pocket for South on 5RPH's league teams shoe tonight. Knights and Biglands were both named on an extended bench for the Eagles.

Just beat me to it Crowman.

I didnt hear the eagles side but im surprised Biglands is on the extended bench for the eagles. I hope Knights gets a game for the crows this weekend but i dont think he will.

I suspect Bassett might come up short. Great to see Dougie in line to make his debut.

I suspect Perrie goes to CHF, Welsh to FF and Hentschel as the roaming forward. Bock back to CHB.

If Bassett doesn't come up I suspect Knights comes in to replace him.

Stevens has been dropped as he has apparently been named in Magpies side.

Torney has been named in a back pocket for South Adelaide this week and Richard Douglas has NOT been named in Glenelg side this week so it looks like he will make his afl debut.

Fantastic news, well deserved if he does get his debut.

As Jenny said, fair play to Stevens, he played his role for us and for the most part did it fairly well so well done to him, and if things do work out in September we should all be very thankful to him as I would be suprised if he is around come september.

Im just glad my boy Perrie is back, too many unhappy days down AAMI stadium. Great to see Dougie in, altho Glenelg miss out, but hey, to serve a greater need, and possibly the opportunity to play some finals, if he's lucky.

Its a pity they couldn't make room for Hudson, I have said for the last 6 months that he would come back in the showdown,. I just hate it when i'm wrong.

I really like Massie too, but like Stevens, Massie has served a purpose this year and has done it pretty well - in fact I would say he has been a better performer than Stevens (if you take the whole season into consideration). But when it boils down to it, is he in our BEST 22? I am not sure he is, but I do wish him a speedy recovery because you know that he will give 100% if required.

I feel sorry for any player that gets injured or dropped at this time of year. Stevens and Massie have given great service all year.
I didn't think Douglas would get a run this year. Good idea to bring him in for the Showdown to see how he goes in a finals-like atmosphere.
May he burn up the park!
