Changes for the Eagles game

I'm looking at the team for this week and I'm thinking we should probably make 4 changes. Is that a wise move a week before the finals?

OUT: Rooke (susp), Varcoe, Byrnes, Taylor (could do with a week off, looks tired)
IN: Kelly, Stokes, Woj and Gamble

is it time to drop Taylor for a rest and maybe try a taller player like West, Mumford, Simpson etc in the CHB possy to see if the taller player gives us a better option??????

Too late to experiment....I think Harry has been left on these guys for so long simply as a development issue, if we were gripping to 8th place, things would be different...But im sure Milburn, Mackie, Scarlett or Harley can cover any of Harry's weaknesses.

Let's not. He is a ruckman who can drift forward for a goal or two, not a permanent or semii-permanent forward.

Smacks of 2006 to play him a lot in the forward line.

And as for "extra ruck option", I don't understand why we would need three in the first place.

Based on previous instances of injury to players this year it seems likely that the club will take a 'softly-softly' approach with these guys.

Agree with the articles, Kelly and Stokes likely to be given another week off.

I'm on board with that one. Up until this year I thought Lonergan was more likely to make it as a defender than forward.

Question is, does Lonergan playing well at CHB actually prove anything against a West Coast side who appear to be playing for time??

Still, I think it would be a worthwhile experiment.

Plus I'd rather go into the finals with Mooney/Lonergan than Mooney/Hawkins, so no point tinkering now.

yes it's very frustrating to say the lest after bomber said that kelly n stokes will play next week and then again today he said that they wont play unless there 100% but it looks like gamble will play next week,l dont like hearing one day they will play and the next day we'll see if there right,just say we;ll see if there right in the first place
