I think it's also because melbourne have a better shot against the tigers than WCE. Nothing against you guys but interstate teams don't rock up in grand finals and history in recent times show that. Adelaide disgraceful last year against the tigers, Bulldogs beating sydney, Wce losing to Hawks in 2015. It's going to be an absolute snore fest if you guys make it and Richmond are meeting you there.

This the biggest load of crap, Dees are the biggest challengers to the Tigers, whoever earns their spot in the Grand Final deserves to be there. The rest can take care itself. By the way the Tigers spanked the Dees last time they met

melb supporter here. Will be tough for us to beat you guys with Kennedy and Darling back (from the last time we played you). Our defence is our weak link, especially with no Lever, and O.Mcdonald playing on either kennedy or Darling scare me. I think our midfield will probably win the battle with Gawn, Oliver, Viney and Harmes quelling Shuey but we'll need to kick accurately to win. If history repeats itself the home ground advantage and historical umpiring advantage may be the difference in the end.

Mate the way Angus Brayshaw and the Melbourne media are talking its like you have won the game, won the GF. They think they are playing a WAFL reserves team. Home town umpiring, mate they are all Victorian umpires?

I would say Gaff and Brad Sheppard are massive outs. But Nic Nat has not played a final since his 4 possession game in the 2015 grandfinal. We have worked out how to win without him. People continue to underrate our midfield at their own peril

Thats what the pies said too their midfield would bully us and dominate us and smash us. Yet our lowly mids of Yeo, Shuey, Redden and Sheed won the clearnces and contested possessions. We dont need to win the midfield battle, we just need to break even. Yes Gawn is the best ruckman i have seen since Dean Cox he will have a massive influence in the game.

We won the right to play at home with a stadium full of WCE supporters to make any team we play feel uneasy. I say lets give the Dees hell this Saturday!! And be louder for longer

It is an absolute crock of crap! The Vic's are more parochial than they accuse the West of being?
They have so much tilted in their favour through any normal season, now they want to tilt the fair advantage we won from 2nd position, and subsequently earned from wins since. They talk about unfair stadium noise? Ridiculous, what about the MCG and 100k?
We don't get our home crowd shown on the big screen, we don't even get to practise on MCG.
