Yeh but I expected to put away west coast and richmond. Instead they were insipid performances, I didn’t anticipate the club to have botched the draft so much, which after shining some light on it, its been woeful, the clubs recent decisions around the 100 year and 50 year celebrations has just about done me over. And Brady is still employed. Its all combined to make the product of pissed off and jaded NMFC members

Yep. That's where things really need to be noted. The West Coast performance was as pathetic as it gets. They are a horrible football side and absolutely dominated the **** out of us. Their wastefulness was the only thing that saved us coupled with them getting tired in the last.

The Richmond game was poor as well. We should be clear of them and it was a horrible arm wrestle where they were probably marginally the better side. Again saved a bit by their wastefulness in front of goal.

In terms of the narrative about the side the end of the season really, really matters.

Don't think the changes weaken us that much. Darling is getting by on perception not performance, he has been at best serviceable at worst average and not contributing enough.

Parker has been good but if we're relying on a 30+ year old recruit in our midfield then we have bigger problems anyway.

I'd have probably dropped Wardlaw for Phillips anyway. Love the way Wardlaw plays but it's not translating to much or improvement at AFL level at the moment. Phillips disposal is better than Wardlaw's as well.
