I suspect it’s not the head coach’s decision.Oh geez. If he gets to Worsfold levels of stubbornness, it won't be good for my mental health.
Ok, but remember the definition of insanity..,
Didn’t the same boys win the flag and belt two premiership fancies in GWS and Pies at the G in successive weeks though?
The last two weeks have been insipid no doubt, but I think Simmo backing them in isn’t as meltworthy as everyone is making out.
I think if they are poor again on our home deck against a weak GC team different story, and the axe should absolutely be wielded

If corralling counts as a pressure act our numbers must have been off the charts a couple of years backChampion Data defines a pressure act as a player putting pressure on the ball carrier, either physically or by corralling, chasing from behind or closing from in front.
So under that definition, Masten gets away with blue murder when he
1. Refuses to tackle and corrals
2. Prefers the opposition to pick up the ball first so he can lay a tackle
3. Uses his one elite attribute to chase and close in
As with so many measures in life, you gotta see into the metric to know whether it is good or bad. It is as clear as mud.
Well technically its flag not flags so he should really have no problem. It would be hard to drop friends and family who have flags.
pressure is vital to our game plan, no questions asked. What I see people question is the ability of pressure acts to effectively measure it.Sure, pressure acts aren't everything. But if you want McGovern, Hurn, Barrass and Shep to intercept mark then those numbers need to be high.
It's the difference between a player waltzing out of half back and hitting targets at ease, or them frantically throwing the ball on the boot.
It's not nothing, in fact it is vital to our game plan

LOLZ @ the bring in M Allen brigade.. One or two start it and the rest follow suit. Bloke is WAFL player at best and needs to be joined by Cole and Venables
Masten been just OK so the hate makes no sense. Plenty been worse this season so far.
JD is not going to play midfield as evidenced by the fact that he never has.
Schofield has to play as we miss Barrass and Brander can't do the job just because he's tall.
Thank F&%k premierships aren't decided in April hey ?
Do me a favour. Watch a game of WAFL football with Mallen playing.LOLZ @ the bring in M Allen brigade.. One or two start it and the rest follow suit. Bloke is WAFL player at best and needs to be joined by Cole and Venables

Can you explain how he is in the same bracket as partington when they have completely separate playing styles?have seen plenty....in the same bracket as Partington and Mutimer. Handy at WAFL level
nothing about him or his style look above that level.......nothing at allCan you explain how he is in the same bracket as partington when they have completely separate playing styles?
same reason they keep McInnes around perhapsSo why would the club give him a fourth year on the senior list?
Well I hope Allen gets an opportunity to prove yours wrong at some point in the near futureit's an opinion.....we all watch and take different things from the games. Doesn't make any of us right or wrong. Nor does it give our opinion any more weight than anyone elses.
22 minutes before you decided that all opinions needed to be respected you said this:it's an opinion.....we all watch and take different things from the games. Doesn't make any of us right or wrong. Nor does it give our opinion any more weight than anyone elses.

(Excuse the intrusion) The Eagles will no doubt be out to make a statement this week and unfortunately our boys will be the victims of it. If the Suns continue their poor decision making and turnovers i expect this game to get very ugly after the 1st quarter. Don't sell your boys short they did win the flag only half a year ago, i expect the eagles to win by a very decent margin. Good Luck but the Suns will need it more lol
