Twitter can be good sometimes. Plenty of photos uploaded this morning by Schwab & @DemonsHQ - showing that Gawn, Bate and Tapscott have all made the trip up north.

You would expect that a few extra players would make the trip but not too surprised to see it's these three. Gawn and Bate would be in line for emergency duty, and hopefully Tapscott is an inclusion for the game.

Pumped for the game - the bye bloody sucks, too long to wait between games!

Twitter delivers again with Blease tweeting about going to chadstone so obviously he has been omitted. Pointless really now with only <2 hours till the sides are named, but still.

Why would they omit Blease after he only played just over a quarter in his debut game?

I'm hoping the warmer weather gives Liam a bit of energy. You just can't discount how oppressive a cold Melbourne winter can be , especially for people brought up in signficantly hotter conditions.

I agree to an extent it has been a factor. No excuses for playing loose but shelling a few marks and fumbling handball receives in the last couple of games is a bit of a signature for those conditions IMO.
