If and at the moment that is a big if, we make finals it will be on the back of a soft draw. Hardly inspiring hope of a flag in the future.

But you seem to be pretty happy with mediocrity, so let's hang around the bottom of the 8 for a few years before we need to rebuild, sounds great

Its not a soft draw, coz we beat the tougher teams at the start of the year. Everyone would have penciled in losses to Freo and Sydney away, yet we won. Even WCE and Port look like great wins.
Goldy has been up and down this year, and deserves to cop some flack, but to suggest he not play because he is like a witches hat was dumb. He competes, tackles and does a lot more. He won the hitouts easily tonight, and won some ball around the ground. His opponent had ZERO influence on the game, depsite some touches.
We will make finals. We should be disappointed that we missed our chance of making top 4 tonight. Which of course means we wont win a flag this year. Good experience for next year. We should be hoping to win one final, and push for a second. That would be a successful year for us.

Just play the 2 key forwards. **** the back up ruck. Goldy plays best when hes the sole ruck anyway. Ball slingshots way too easily with 3 talls.

But wait there is logic...BS will drop him due to lack of game time and conditioning but Tarrant is called upto start after half a game.

Meanwhile...BS would like to see player xxx dominate for 4 quarters in the VFL week in and week out before we call him up to the 1s and make him the token sub.
