Out of all weeks to send the statement this is it. But seriously, I shouldnt be laughing but we just dont have the cattle to bring back :(

Sadly, i agree. its time to reward a few guys though. Jacobs gets 5 full games after tonight, Wood and Froggy pull the jumper on very soon.

Jacobs comes in for a full game, Lachy back, maybe look at Dumont. If Wood kicks a bag tomorro for the Bees then Browns spot is as good as his.
There are 2 boys though playing tomorrow who IF EVER had an opportunity present itself like no other, then **** me they should just jump in the bay and start swimming.
Keiran Harper and Taylor Hine. Cyril is out and Hill needs to be tagged. We need another small forward to help LT. Pull your bloody fingers out and demand to be selected FFS. A supporter base is crying out for some blokes who are willing to have a dip.

OUT: McKenzie Bastinac Adams Warren Brown
IN: Hansen Harper Hine Wood Dumont

B: Mullet Thompson Firrito
HB: Atley Hansen Hine
C: Gibson Dal Santo Swallow
HF: Harvey Black Ziebell
F: Thomas Petrie Wood
R: Goldstein Cunnington Greenwood
I: Jacobs Harper Dumont (McDonald Sub) (Willing to rest him and mabe make Basti sub if need be also)

I could live with them changes, but not sure Harper is in the mix even though he has the ability. If players havnt earned it, i dont want them anywhere near the 1's. jmo. Another game like last week for Daw and he is kicking the door down as well.

McKenzie, Basti and Patch can all **** off for extended spells

Out: Adams putrid. McKenzie lacklustre at best.

In: I don't bloody know. Dumont. Harper. Couldn't be worse. Hansen.

The way the ball walked out of our fifty when we needed to turn the screw, grrrrrrrrrr was so ****in irritating.

When we got the ball forward in the last and ceated a stoppage from Drew, we needed all our mids and half backs to push up and lock the ball in. What did we do? We sat back, applied no pressure or press and Brisbane cleared the danger.
What a bunch of ****wits.
Based on this evidence tonight and giving Warren and McKenzie games, I see no reason why if Harper performs well tomorrow he gets a call up.

LT loves Friday nights at the dome. Dr Dre will be busy in the studio this week preparing.

Seriously Arjen, only you are ******ed enough to want to drop Jacobs & keep that pathetic excuse for a footballer MacKensie in the team... did you even watch the game!? Deadset clueless!

One nice spin does not a good game make.

Did you miss the litany of free kicks he gave away, the fumbling, the lack of any pace or real skill.

He was actually terrible Jacobs.

Bastinac had 10 in the first quarter, he was fine, drew hits him, he is a match winner and the circle jerk would have been biblical.

Fine line.

And as for McKenzie, hits boomer who dropped a chest mark and that was the only time he was able to get forward & dangerous. He was too busy being educated deep in defence because his senior mates couldn't be trusted.

Changes.....

What the f*** does it matter?

Shuffling chairs for no particular reason.
We have an injury list a mile long. We need our best players in the 22 and actually playing.

It won't matter changing 2 players it won't matter changing 5.

We need something that takes the 22 that ran out last night to play their best footy for 120 minutes week in week out. Shuffiling chairs is not going to do that.

This will do nicely.

We will be lucky to make finals and should forget about them. Even if we make it we will get pumped.

Time to blood the young players.

I personally think that there are two categories of changes:
a) those that are really not ready for AFL football; and
b) those that are AFL footballers but underperforming (due to form or injury)

I firmly believe that Ben Brown, Max Warren and Brad Mackenzie fit into the first category.
Sideshow needs at least one pre-season in the gym as he gets outbodied far too much. Max has had three years on the list and does not look at all like he's ready (delist at year end) and Mackenzie may be a beautiful kick but he has been unable to get the pill on a consistent basis at either AFL or VFL level. All three should be dropped in my view.

The major problem is that we have a combination of long term injuries and guys horribly out of form. I think this week is the time for multiple changes. If Daw goes well today, then I'd be in favour of dropping Black and Brown. Go with two talls and a more mobile forward line. Instruct Daw that he has half of the forward 50 and he is not to draw his defender to the Petrie contest. Both Daw and Drew to lead at every opportunity.

Hopefully Hansen is back because I think we underestimate his value to the team structure.

Ins: Daw, Hansen, Wood, Dumont (sub)
Outs: Brown, Black, Mackenzie, Warren

Jacobs for a full game. JZ forward. Leave it to Swallow, Pig and Cunners to the do the in and under. Adams and Bastinac lucky that we don't have enough fit mids to replace them.

That's the problem who are the best players in the 22? I see a few who aren't best players therefore the best performing outside the 22 need to be picked. Cannot keep playing the same players hoping they will turn it on

If we ring changes would it make the application the current group any dfferent?

of the players we have fit we could not make enough changes and still field a side it we dropped everyone who should be on the back of last night.

We all know that it takes something incredibly drastic to alter the line of thinking around the backing in of the players.

Last time we rang changes was when? after the 13 13 game? when we lost Euge?

Don't need to ring the changes just need to drop one or two senior players and don't worry that will effect the entire playing group to smarten up.

I think we need more than that.

I think that the issue is deeper.

Out: Mckenzie, Bastinac, Adams, Warren, Black, Brown

In: Dumont, Wright, Harper, Hine, Wood, Daw

McKenzie need to go back to the two's and play as an inside mid. Needs to learn to get the footy, and needs to learn how to lay minimum 4-5 tackles a game. If Dumont in his first year can do it at VFL level then so can Mckenzie.

Bastinac pretty much needs to go back for the same reason as Mckenzie. Get your head over the footy and lay some tackles. Bloody hell he needs to get some strength in the contest. Lock him in the gym and make him put on a few kilo's.

Adams: His form isn't really warranting a 2 year contract extension is it. If you play as a half forward you need to impact the scoreboard. Go back to the two's and start finding some touch.

Warren: very meh player, Hine offers a lot more defensively but can also find the footy. Hine is quicker and has the potential to stop a Hill/Smith type.

Brown: Still think he shows something, takes the footy at the highest point. At this stage I think it is best Daw is given an extended crack.
