Omg what a great statement brad u moron. wright, mcmahon and anthony in.... are u kidding me???????

This coach is an absolute joke

What do u want do drop say Bastinac/Adams over McKenzie. Just can't do it and with Ziebell out it tied his hands a little

I don't have an issue with the outs, but I'd have liked to see Dumont or Wood in. Not the same players who have been dropped 50 times and recalled 50 times.

I give up.

Which gives me something in common with a few of the players.

Playing in this team must be like groundhog day for the coaches favourites.

They could throw a game, get dropped or even delisted but come Thursday night the week resets and voila they wake up in the side once more.

Agree on Warren, the ball didn't go anywhere near him, as a defender there's not much you can do about that. Unless he was leaving his direct opponent open to take possession after possession there's not necessarily anything wrong with low possession numbers himself.

Lions continually scored from around the 50 arc and CHF. Max couldn't have done a hell of a lot.

Spot on.

He has unfairly been criticized for mine throughout the week based solely on his possie count - it's not all about Dreamteam/Supercoach scores, it's what role they play that counts.

He did ok from what I saw. Deserved another game for mine, one game in and axed is harsh especially after such a bad team performance including more senior players expected to do far more.

Rubbish. Wood could've come in as sub and replace the subbed off Dumont.

Weak as piss Brad and match committee. Im considering the virtues of going. Been invited to an exhibit of sea snails so may give the game a miss.

Can I come too, sea snails sounds good, if we get 22 of them put them
Into footy jumpers we can make a new NM team.

I am sure better then the crap that we are putting out tomorrow.

Outs:

Ziebell out (knee) cant be helped, means we probably keep in Basti for the experience
Mullett out, slightly stiff as has been improving, but his defensive work HAS been sloppy (played close to every game this year and last?) = statement
Warren out, bit stiff as well, but can kind of understand it.
McKenzie out, warranted, least experienced of the players consistently under performing

Ins:
Lachie, required player and in form
Loose, hrmm... good defender, has been getting decent reviews in the VFL, also brings some more experience to the team. however has been lacking a bit of pace (may have changed)
LA, like it or not, we know what we'll get from him: the pill. Has good endurance, not a young player, nor coming off a recent injury. not thrilled but can understand it.
Wright, has been in ripping VFL form, will probably play defensive forward or in defence. Also not thrilled, but has 100% shown in the past he can work at AFL level, but has screwed up the last couple of times. understandable inclusion.

Wood, Dumont, Warren as emergencies. Means no second chance for the players dropped. May be a late change, but wouldn't hold my breath. Would have liked Wood to play, but after coming off an injury niggle, and 5 day break, can understand it. Dumont is a first year player, has shown steady improvement as well, would have also liked him to play.

Like others have said, our injury list is seriously killing us. He's dropped players, and listed them as omitted, not rested or injured. Basti and Adams are also on the interchange, perhaps the best he can do from a public viewpoint with our injuries.

Overall, he has made a statement, have heard from multiple players he's gone harder at them this week than any time this year, and we are close to having more injured players than healthy ones. Most of us would have liked a bigger/larger statement but hands are tied in some regards, and we are playing the best team in the comp, so need to choose a team that we think can win. Decent changes for mine.

The "outs" I understand, but the inclusions are mindboggling. McMahon and Firrito in the same backline, slow as snails down there, we'll get murdered by Breust and Co. I would've rather seen Taylor Hine than McMahon. Warren unlucky

When LA, McMahon and Wright come in you know we are in some serious trouble. I am going tomorrow night but won't be expecting much.

Four changes people, so what do u want, to severely weaken our team so there is no hope tomorrow night.

l'll accept 3 changes........Bastinac, Bastinac, Bastinac...

14% of last week's team has been dropped, but everyone is baying for more blood? We'll not feel better about ourselves and purge last week's loss until our better players make way for some first gamers, against the best team in the comp? Got it.

Mason Wood's debut is 8 weeks overdue.

Without reading 4 pages ahead -- will save up that pleasure for after dinner -- and without wanting to denigrate the good vfl form of Loose and Sam, I feel comfortable calling that the most pissweak, uninspiring, statement-free swing of the axe I can remember.

But its obvious the players coming in aren't going to improve us! Its all been seen before and they have been proved time and time again that they simply are not up to it!

Prefer experienced changes versus bringing in kids this week. Maybe the youngsters aren't hitting their KPI's at the moment. Anyway, injuries hindering depth presently. Hansen a big in. Can picture this board if we lose though, "Wood this, Dumont that."

Don't disagree with that. I would have like to see have seen him in for Black.

However, the blood lust for changes is remarkable. This Board is turning into an army that shoots its wounded.
