And just if by some miracle something unexpected happens...
C brown will come in for Stevo as the only change
OUT:
Varcoe
JT
T.Brown
WHE
Elliott (has to be held accountable for being a liability)
IN:
Sier
Ruscoe
Mayne
Broomhead (last chance to prove he's still up to the level)
Murphy (been emergency enough times to at least have a chance)
More time for all the eagles players to get back.
i mean from injury lolthey got back last Friday.
I normally wouldn't, but Broomhead was very promising a few years ago, and we don't really have another opportunity for him to show he's still up to it. Also, I doubt we'll get very far in finals anyway, so it being a elimination final isn't a much of a factor for me. And really, he probably deserves an opportunity more than guys like JT, WHE, Elliott who are either never/rarely held accountable are gifted games all the time.I wouldn't bring a player into a elimination final to see if they're still up to AFL level...

I know, but I personally think he was very promising, and if he shows signs that he's improving, I think he may be worth persisting with, given his talent. We can move on from him once we move on from guys like JT and Varcoe, who are clearly cooked.Broomhead was borderline best 22 before he had a career threatening leg injury, and now he's worse.
He has already played his last game, move on.

26 is still young enough to turn it around. If she shows the right signs, a full-preason could really get him back up to where he was (or even better). There's a reason he's been on the list as long as he has, despite all the injuries, and it's time we saw why. Regardless of all that, he deserves a game more than the names I want out anyway.Broomhead is cooked, he's 26 and still a long way outside of the best 22.

Didn't know Ben Kennedy was still on the list. He's stayed on our list because he's Grundy's best mate and housemate and we were desperate to re-sign Grundy...

Yea...
" THEY are humorously referred to as “the Broommates” at Collingwood.
Brodie Grundy and Tim Broomhead could hardly be more contrasting in shape, size, outlook on life, and personality, but the Magpie teammates and inner-north housemates have been connected since they were young South Australians draft hopefuls.
“We are the Tim and Brodie package,” Grundy joked.
“We look out for each other, not just in footy, but in life,” Broomhead added.
Born within 24 days of each other, and chosen just minutes apart in the 2012 national draft, the pair have forged a bond that works for them and amuses other teammates. "
You don't think Brodie would ask the club to give his best mate another year or two on the rookie list during his contract negotiations when the club is desperate to sign him...??
What I'm saying is give him a game to see if he deserves a contract for next year. Let's see if he can prove to us and if he deserves to be there next year.Unfortunately l don't see Broomhead on our list in 2021...
It’s a bloody elimination final mate, pick the strongest team with the best match ups. That “see if he can prove himself” boat has sailed I’m afraid. What I'm saying is give him a game to see if he deserves a contract for next year. After one game this year (which he played before he was ready)? Surely he can't be any worse than Varcoe, JT, WHE or the Brown brothers who have already had plenty of opportunities this year. It’s a bloody elimination final mate, pick the strongest team with the best match ups. Heads up btw, Eagles have a fair few outs. I think we could win this game.
