Nothing ugly about the way we played today. I thought we moved the ball beautifully on a number of occasions. We played with real zest and passion too.I’ve supported Thomas all year.... FMD we play ugly...

I mentioned JDG, but as wishful thinking only. Would be a bonus if he gets up this week. Langdon back would be a great outcome too, will they pull the trigger there at all, this year? Why are people mentioning JDG? Geoff Walsh said two days ago that Round 16 (when we have the bye) was when they are hoping he'll be ready.
Mayne out for Greenwood
Cameron for Langdon
WHE survives purely due to lack of viable replacements. We haven't got much pace and defensive pressure in the wings. Varcoe maybe, but he doesn't inspire much faith at the moment either. Atu is the other option I guess.
Because we're light as feck in the midfield and we'll need a harder edge in there against the Brions.
From all reports he was BOG in the scratch match this week, too.
He does a job for one week, then gets replaced by Treloar after the bye. We don't have a huge number of options at the moment.

Could work to our advantage. We've finally found some form and a long break may not be what we want. Carlton just came off a nine day break and didn't fire a shot after halftime. Last week North and the Pies were both coming off nine day breaks and both were woeful in the first half. Maybe rustiness sets in.Will get absolutely belted here. How we are playing this game on a Friday after the Lions have had a bye is disgusting.
It’s going to be a replay of the Melbourne game. But worse because Brisbane are actually quite good.
Ps. Hoskin out
Spot on KappaIn: Ruscoe Greenwood JDG (if fit)
Out: Cameron (dropped) Mayne (inj) C Brown (dropped)
Those dropping Cameron and not bringing in a player who can ruck, who is going to 2nd ruck?
Langdon in and Roughy plays 2nd ruck?
Can Checkers do it?
Ruscoe is 190cm+ isn't he, can he give it a go if he comes in?
Only other option is Lynch debut, but that's another 200cm player, which I don't think we need
Agree he needs to be dropped, but we need a dedicated ruck pinch hitter
LOL oops, I forgot to add "Cox plays better when left in the forward line" to my post...... Cox?
I cannot understand this desire for Trey's recall. He is nowhere near it in my humble opinion despite the scoreboard which suggests otherwise. My eyes are a better guide than statistics. If we are serious he should not play again this season.Agree with this, happy to keep Cox in the forward line all game. But Cameron doesn't deserve to play...
Can Checkers play 2nd ruck? What's holding him back from doing that?
Greenwood surely comes straight back in
INS: Greenwood, Ruscoe, De Goey
OUTS: Mayne (inj), Cameron (omi), CBrown/WHE (omi)

Basically a player down today with Cameron in the team, Ruscoe at least hits the scoreboard?I cannot understand this desire for Trey's recall. Best to leave Cox at full forwardCox is the best tap ruckman in the side
Roughead is a premiership ruckman
Moore 's old man won two Brownlows in the ruck
Nup......cant think of any options

I'd prefer Callum Brown despite his poor strike rate on the scoreboard-he is a fierce competitor. Trey seems to tiptoe around the fringes of the pack.Basically a player down today with Cameron in the team, Ruscoe at least hits the scoreboard?

Disrupt our backline if you move the other 2
Definitely a dilemma but Cameron has to go. Ruscoe being our most productive forward over the past month and backing up in the scracth match surely gets first crack at a recall. Who do you suggest? Broomhead perhaps?
Cameron, but Cameron is probably needed to 2nd ruck, so I don't knowBut with Roscoe in the side, who do we take out of the forward line?

Still prefer Cal Brown-he'd die for the jumper if you asked him too. I'd put Varcoe forward ahead of Trey at this stage.Definitely a dilemma but Cameron has to go. Fair point, but I'd prefer to keep our pillars in their optimal positions and not changed things around so muchIts five minutes per quarter. Mihocek/Ruscoe/WHE can over key position
Wills coming in for Mayne would just be beyond typical. Plodder in plodder outHow are we 'light as feck' in the midfield..? Our core midfield is Grundy, Pendles, Adams and Elliott. Ty is light obviously, be he stood up brilliantly in there today. Our contested footy was good today. We just shoot ourselves in the foot bringing in Wills, slows down an already slow team and cripples our ability to spread from stoppages. He's also the least versatile player on our list, he goes from semi-useful around stoppages to witches hat around the ground for 50% of the game and then 50% on the bench.
He's a potato. We finally showed some good signs in that second half, if we resort back to the style of game that Wills is a factor in we might as well pack it in for the year.
