The captain needs to be someone who is fearless and in the play. There aren't really any other contenders - maybe Moore. Adams should get the job.

These days each line seems to have a leader to get themselves organised. The formal captain is a token.

Howe will continue to lead the backs when fit. Noone will lead the forwards, they'll remain headless chooks and whoever is in the midfield at the time out of Sidey, Adams and Pendles will lead the mids.
