Started off poorly, thought Coops was Branch and Nostra knocked one out as a result. Apologies bro.



Regrouped with a pint. Or 2.



Great turnout. Plenty of kids and hardcores. Probably 150 people in arctic conditions. Reminded me of Waverley back in the day. Just needed some hail and snow. Never came but the wind was enough.



Shit conditions. We were only there for 30mins max. Possibly caught influenza a, b and c as a result. B is for beer. A is for A beer. And C is for see beers.



The East Freo development is actually quite decent. Put my rates up (bastards) and lied to my work to leave early. Kind of ridiculous.



Light skills. Very light. Not 1 tackle. East Freo bloke reckons we’ve pulled up sore after the Bunbury brick grass. Serious this time.



Xerri didn’t train. Chom took photos with some kids. Looks sore.



Drills:

2/1 drawing the man.

Working in confined spaces.

Hitting. Up a leading forward. Readjust out go over the top for the Joe.

Keeping off.



Bit sloppy. Them, not me.



Practicing torps from 70 seemed to be the thing at the end. Darling was serious and professional. Lmac thought he was Blight. Thought.



FOS stood out on the park. Clean and clinical. Never biting off more than he could chew. Weighted his kicks with the wind to advantage. It was nice to watch.



Teakle the #1 pick of the day. Great with the kids. Good energy. Taking requests for boundary shots on goal from the crowd. Riding the points and sledging the goals. He really seems like a great bloke.



If Xerri goes down, we’re ****ed, but Teakle will provide good morale and crowd requests.



Lmac will be there for the bum pat.



No questions. I’m getting on it as I have the day off tomorrow.



Didn’t go to Bunbury. Little faith. Going to Optus this weekend. Faith restored. Kind of. Taking the Mrs from Russia who’s never been to a game. She’s bought in, told her it’s like the war and we are anti-nato.
