Time for a bit of a shake up in the lineup I think. This current set up will not win us the flag or even make top 4. Maybe time to shuffle it around. Howe should be back so he can play tall like last year and move Moore forward, been amazing down back all year but its time to cut the losses with cox and play a solid month in the vfl.

Think we will finish with 12 or 13 wins. I would like to see noble and atu given a shot

Thought Aish was good last night

Langdon is a big an out for us as any other player.

We look slow as soon as Stephenson is out of the line up.

Let’s look at some of our kids
Unfortunately don’t think we can win the flag.

And while injuries are a factor let’s actually make some calls on the constantly injured 🤕

As bad as we are playing, 14 wins could possibly be enough for 4th spot. It looks extremely unlikely, but if we can get a few players back and find a semblance of form, we might be able to get there.

I like your optimism we can only hope , but what I’ve witnessed the last 5 weeks. This team is shot and there must be some internal issue we are not Getting and the game plan is horrible

Wow

This my friends is the big game
Long road trip suits us , may galvanise our resolve

Brave coaching I'd like to see
Starting at selection
Continuining with tactics and use of players

Selection

I'm bringing in 2 and too me their important selections
I'd also look at the Vfl today
For another possible in

Possible
Appleby comes in to play bp , thus releasing Maynard to wing

Sack comes in and plays on darling , releasing Moore

Ins Appleby atu sack

Outs Thomas Mihochek aish

Thomas should have been dropped 9 weeks ago
Doesn't score
Doesn't tackle
Turns it over
Just offers nothing compared to brown and even josh Daicos gave us something

Mihochek
Trier and does a lot right but really is mcgoverns bunny
Definition of insanity is doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different result
Gotta keep the ball low IMO do we drop cox?

Aish
Played ok last night but hasn't got a match up
Quaynour stays in as he gives more offence
If selected and he probably will be Can he play on gaff?

Really need to mix it up
Who knows we might discover something

Apples roughy shaz

Crisp Moore sack

Pendels Sier Phillips

Sidey. Mayne Elliott
Cox whe brown

Grundy treleor de goey

Quaynour Daicos atu varcoe

time for a massive shake up, something needs to change. I'm thinking these changes:
OUT- Cox, Sier, Thomas, Daicos
IN- Howe, Adams, Varcoe, Greenwood

Moore goes forward to help that big need for a KP forward, Mayne also plays forward for a negating role on McGovern.

Varcoe plays defence to add some speed and dash coming out, Adams and Greenwood play midfield with Greenwood to tag the oppositions best midfielder, he is good at doing that so why not negate the oppositions best player. Sidebottom to play more forward, Pendlebury to play more on the wing to use his foot skills rather than worrying about winning the contested ball, lets face it when he has it in some space he is more effective than if he has it at the bottom of the pack.

so this is how I would look at lining up next week

B: Howe - Roughead - Quaynor
HB: Crisp - Scharenberg - Maynard
C: Pendlebury - Adams - Phillips
HF: WHE - Mihocek - Sidebottom
F: Mayne - Moore - De Goey
R: Grundy - Treloar - Greenwood

INT: Varcoe - Elliott - Brown - Aish

Might not be the best thing to do but something needs to change

Out: Mayne, Cox, Thomas
In: Varcoe, Howe, Adams

B: Jeremy Howe ~ Jarryd Roughead ~ Brayden Maynard
HB: Isaac Quaynor ~ Mathew Scharenberg ~ Jack Crisp

M: Adam Treloar ~ Taylor Adams ~ Tom Phillips
R: Brodie Grundy ~ Scott Pendlebury ~ Jordan De Goey

HF: Steele Sidebottom ~ Brodie Mihocek ~ Callum Brown
F: Jamie Elliott ~ Darcy Moore ~ Will Hoskin-Elliott

I/C: Travis Varcoe ~ Brayden Sier ~ Jame Aish ~ Josh Daicos

Doubt very Mutch that Howe greenwood or Adams will be considered
Bringing noble in , he needs a blinder today

I rekin sack can handle the pressure
I rekin he's got great memory's of beating darling

Rekin atu will suprise in the 1s

Lol! “Arse that grew a body”.

We will win this game. It will galvanise the group and will be looked back at the turning point on the season where we went on to win sweet 16.
That's the way mate. Keep up the good spirit. If you beat West Coast at home then the whole competition will take note and you're back in contention.

Changes v WCE....
1) if you are crazy enough to have bought tickets; don’t bother... just go visit the quokkas instead...
2) out Cox... McGovern will absolutely annihilate him... of thought the Sicily and Tarrant were bad enough... watch what McGovern/Barrass do... Moore goes up forward.
In Goldsack, goes to defence to cover the Moore hole.
3) out Thomas in A2B2
4) in Greenwood... out mono-paced Mayne
5) Out Aish in Noble... we need a spark... s**t is getting serious now.

I can't remember which poster suggested it but it's a solid alternative to big Cox lumbering around the forward line. Moore forward and Goldsack comes in, I like!

Yep. I'm really glad we're playing a good team. It's what we need to shake our safe, trying not to lose mentality. Time to regain our attacking trying to win mentality. Go Pies. I've got a good feeling about this one.
