Hardeman is a lock. The guys in defence were good today but he adds much more run and defensive pressure.

I am swapping him in for one of the forwards, probably Duursma. Outside of LMAC, the others can be moved around.

Give George another week, not sitting on a plane.

In: Wardlaw (if fit)
Out: Duursma

B: Pink Logue Blamires
HB: Parker Comben McKercher

C: Stephens FOS Simpkin

HF: Sheezel Larkey Dovaston
F: Curtis Trembath Zurhaar

R: Xerri LDU Wardlaw

I: Powell Darling Daniel McDonald Konstanty

Having Darling, Sheezel, Dovaston, FOS, Stephens, Simpkin, McKercher all running 13+ km a game is huge for versatility.

Just FYI my mail is Hardeman is closer to availability than Wardlaw.

So if anyone is coming 'in' it's more likely to be Riley than George.

No change.

Although, I'd be tempted to bring Banch in for BGZ. There's enough marking power down forward with the 3 talls + Bull & PC. JK still doesn't get enough of the ball and Dova is still getting used to the pace of the game, so they could do with a 3rd musketeer.

Definitely give Wardlaw an extra week off. And Hardeman could probably use it as well, unless LMac pulls up sore.

Clarko said that Wardlaw was basically ready to go today

That's pretty interesting. Match-sim on Wednesday, Hardeman was a full participant and Wardlaw sat the entire thing out.

Hardeman in. Tough call required because I'd probably have the weaker players today - not saying they didn't play their part - up field. Defense looked pretty composed with Parker there and really only conceded easily when the whole team allowed coast to coast on a few occasions. Very reticent to drop Duursma as I though he did some very nice things, he wouldn't exactly be stiff but I'd be trying to reward him for doing the things he's being asked to do.

On paper I'd probably have Simpkin or Konstanty as those that struggled the most whilst whipping boy Daniel was pretty solid as well. Hard's has to come in though so something tough to be done.

Let's not kid ourselves, Port were pretty poor and we didn't get a damaging forward line to contend with. We need the speed of Hardeman back there both for defence and attack. We also need the power of Wardlaw in the middle, Just need to balance the exits. One forward is an easy one, the other player is less straight forward. I think it should be one of Parker or Daniel, preferably the latter, but both played well.

Let's see how ballsy Clarko is.

I think they'll keep Wardlaw on ice for another week so only one tough decision if that's the case. Although it would be a brave person that would suggest Wardlaw couldn't come in and play Konstanty's role this week... Going to be interesting to see. Hardeman is the first easy in for a while that is going to demand a tough change.

Surely McDonald out Hardeham in if any other Konstanky out for Banch

McDonald was pretty damn solid - but yeah. Like for like that's the change, unless you don't need the height then you might move Pink out. Can't see that though.

These two things won't happen, and despite Caleb Daniel being serviceable today I'd replace him with Hardeman. I'd also replace Konstanty with Banch.

I'm guessing...

Konstanty -> Wardlaw
Lmac or Pink -> Hardeman (depending on matchup)

Maybe they ease Blamires in to AFL and sit him.

Personally, I would go Simpkin and Daniel out, but Daniel was decent today.
