I mostly agree LN.
I would start JvR up forward, but IF he struggles early, I would send him into our defence to play CHB.
I agree with your other Outs.
Melk and Petty into the forward-line. with Turner in defence... switch Turner with JvR if Roy struggles.
JvR has been struggling for a couple of years in the Goody-ball style of play. Any young full forward would struggle in this method of ball movement. He has been struggling all year. He has managed a total of 8 marks and 4 goals across 6 games.
Why will this be the week he finally turns it around?
Send him to Casey.

Honestly it is in part the mids fault, but (and i've mentioned it before) JVR has some blame as well when we do get the odd good kick coming in. Judgement is just so off and gets himself under the ball a lot... or wrestles and doesn't leadJvR has been struggling for a couple of years in the Goody-ball style of play. Any young full forward would struggle in this method of ball movement.
But now, as we start to move the footy quicker, and often thru the corridor (yippee) the young fella deserves more time trying at tall forward.
IF then as i said, if he continues to struggle to mark the footy... that should be the time to send him back to the defence. switch with Daniel turner. Turner with Petty, both forward.
Following up from this, I would send JvR back to Casey to play as a defender, just to give him some time to unwind from years of neglect, of lacking decent feeding.
Maybe up to 6 weeks in the back-half allowing him the freedom to be an intercept back-man with attacking freedoms.
From there it should be time to see him start to flourish again as a forward.

I wouldn't mind trailing him back though, as some here have suggested. He played both ends in juniors and i think defence really helps you get your eye in and judgement a bit better, and if it doesn't good forwards will lead you to the ball, you get a bit of craft playing on them
All that in mind, i'd like it to be at Casey. Not that most of our keys are fast.
Remember both TMc and Pederson both played really well as high tall forwards and neither were quick.JVR is however lumbering and slow. You can hide that as a good forward, but not so much if you're being beaten to the ball as a defender. He will have his confidence smashed in just as much at AFL level playing back, once a team with good crumbers or agile forwards get a hold of him. That's also not bring up whatever zone we're going with he has to learn to fit into

I’ll put the house on it. Are you in, PerfectFooty ?![]()
It’s Laser time. May as well chuck the house on a flag now with Laser about to be unleashed.
I don't recall Jai Culley being named.![]()

Oliver? Fritsch? Sharp?the real possibility of a player named on the field misses out.
Sharp.Oliver? Fritsch? Sharp?
Any other suggestions?
May's drop off has been unbelievable.Sharp.
I’ve managed to get to training for the first time in years.
No real clues on selection. The entire extended squad are training together in match sim drills.
May looks terrible. Fumbling, immobile, out of position, missing kicks.
