I'm tipping a crazy selection week.

You know what, I'd be fine with bringing Laurie in if it meant Viney was out of the middle.
Ill Allow It Spanish GIF

Its funny isn't it. The only decent form we've ever seen from Laurie has been when he's played as a pure mid at Casey but whenever he's come in he's played either small forward or sub.

I'm still not a believer but id be more interested in giving him a crack than seeing the same olds all piling into the contest once again.

Shit thing is after so publicly committing to Oliver and Viney and Vineys contract extension there's just no way they don't dominate midfield time.

They'll keep struggling to do their jobs, and the fringe players will keep struggling as a result

Quite liked AJ's game against GWS and appreciate that he tried to hurt someone when he tackled them, albeit a little bit clumsily. Nice relief ruck too. Shame he's dropped but I'm sure we'll rotate him in next week for Turner or whatever.

STRONG statement by Goody but fair enough, we cant get absolutely flogged in clearance like we have been and there not be changes. Billings and Howes in particular did need a good look in the mirror, we rely on them for clearances.

I liked his game against GWS, and yes he goes in hard, but he was absolutely ****ing horrid against the Suns. Not surprised he got dropped.

Happy to admit I didn't watch that game too closely.

That said, I'd rather just give someone a run of games rather than shuffle the bottom 6 players out every week.

He named Oliver on the bench, I guess in Goodys world that is a BIG STATEMENT.

If we're being serious Viney should be dropped (Oliver has been no good but still better than Viney) and probably told his contract will be paid out in full and he can retire this year. My god that extension is just so horrific.

Goody in the cuck chair watching Trac and Clarry meeting with Macrae and Chris Scott for coffee this week.

Even my partner, who is no nuffy but tries his hardest to keep positive, is basically “**** it, were cooked”.

I like his plans to cope though. He has pledged to monitor the game tonight and put his support towards Carlton too going 0-4

Re: Viney, there's been plenty of players who have looked cooked at an older age but somehow pulled it together. Zorko probably the best example I can think of.

I think Viney can contribute (for now anyway) just get him out of the ****ing midfield. We have enough young players to take over already, and we're stifling their development prioritising the old guys.
