So who plays second ruck? Luckily we have two legitimate options.
Moore or Roughead?
Grundy will do 90% which will equate to Reid having to do sweet FA. We can manoeuvre it so Grundy takes the centre bounces.

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?

Just get our players to rove to their rucks. They’ll be very bloody busy if Reid rucks.

...........or for a change our onballers can "read the tap" from the opposition ruckman.

You’re always thinkingMaybe drop Grundy and leave Reid in the ruck all day?
Maybe it's just an anomaly, but Pies in our current list seem to have kept on some older guys as their ready to go depth. I quite like it.
I’m an ideas man. You’re always thinking
It’s the way you do the rissoles.I’m an ideas man.

Thomas over WHE. Could be Brown. He deserves to stay in. Lacked conversion last week and polish but he found the ball more than others. With Elliot back in, should be interesting who goes out. Could be thomas, or WHE
It would be a good result if Grundy took all the centre bounces as Reid will get smashed. Maybe if Reid rucked in the forward line and Roughead the backline when Grundy is off the ground, that might work.
He has more defense exposure than ruck exposure. I agree with you it won't happen.Reid hasn't played in defence in many years. Won't happen
It’s the way you do the rissoles.
Tongue in cheek maggie but will require some recasting of the side.I hope not, that is my biggest worry about JT, defensive side of his game.
"This is Chuck telling Bill to shut up!".I’m an ideas man.
Can’t say I’m rating the calls you’re making this week Ed...
You're probably right, but the same thing applied last year when we re-signed him. At this very moment it's looking like a good call to have re-signed him, but no doubt I'll agree with you again when he gets injuries or has a shocker.I’m a fan too. It‘s sound list management and something we needed to address for about 5-6 years from 11-17. Cohesion and shared growth has increased as a result.
Unfortunately for Reid, like Wells, you can’t rely on his body enough to offer another contract because its so banged up (in a footy sense). The reality is for me that getting through 2019 injury free will have no impact on his ability to get through 2020.
In the 80’s when list sizes were over 50 it would be fine, but list spots are too valuable these days to run the gauntlet on depth.
