i reckon it'll be Viney in for Harmes, and Fritsch in for Pickett.
i wouldn't rush May back, we need him right at the business end. Salem can come back in through the reserves like others have said as he hasn't played any games yet this year and probably needs to be eased back into it anyway.
and i think Melksham to stay the sub, they'll probably nurse him through this way to get his 100 games up for us.

McVee is a no worse a kick probably better, runs faster, can link up. Seems to defend pretty well also. Love that he didnt try and do too much and focused on shutting down his man and let the possessions come to him.

I have no idea what Salem does apart from get 20 neat kicks a game. Doesn't beat a man, doesn't create, doesn't provide run and dash. I wish they'd try Salem at half forward going in the midfield.

Part of me thinks Goody's just froffing at the mouth to drop Mcevee, Laurie, Bowey and Chandler for Salem, May, Viney and Fritsch

As someone mentioned earlier, Hibbo, wouldnt surprise me if Goody went back to old faithful to play on Camerson again. McVee would be stiff to be dropped but I could see it.

Salem needs to work his back side off if he comes back in

McVee offers much much more in the air and on the ground with leg speed
Salem is slower than ever and can barely kick over 50m these days

I wasn't convinced about your forward leading in to the season but i am feeling very wrong already. Oliver and Petracca unbeatable as a duo. The 2 rucks seems to work and get enough ball to ground. I guess interesting how much you miss Pickett?

This game has semi-final revenge written all over it. I would like to think we come out absolutely breathing fire but that would be A) pretty delusional after the weekend and B) likely matched by the fire in the belly you have from September. So after 5 minutes it becomes a normal game and then i am worried.

Reckon you are deserved flag favourites, Collingwood look to have improved, Geelong we'll see, Port might be the big mover. Looks like the dogs have lost too much midfield grunt.

I wouldn't be convinced after one game, Bulldogs backline is pretty average and they lost jones during the game as well. We've also lost pickett for a few weeks who kicked 4. Hopefully we regain Fritsch which helps with the loss of Pickett. McDonald didn't do a lot but he does help structure wise.

I guess i thought you needed to improve your forward line a fair bit. Now i think mcdonald coming back combining with a grade mid and backline is enough to make you flag faves again

McDonald was pretty poor against the Dogs and I'm not convinced Brown will do what he did every week but we'll see. Fritsch still our most important forward.

I think McDonald back in the team really helps structure wise but we do need to see him hit the scoreboard, a measly point after the siren isn't good enough (he should be kicking it anyway). I'm optimistic about the team just need a few more games to see how well our forward line is functioning.

Ive got zero confidence in our forward line, particularly with Kozzy out. Prove me wrong kids, prove me wrong. (doesnt mean we cant win this week, just dont think we kick 100 points)
