Georgiades is now 2nd in the Coleman, he has to be the only player from our squad in AA contention? Maybe Rozee HBF (but doubt it)? Would like to see him snag a big bag here and help his own cause.

Rozee and Butters are having their best seasons, just doesn't look as good when you are losing, but they've been very good. I'd say they are more likely to be in the conversation for AA honours than Georgiades.

If Mitch finishes 2nd in the Coleman behind Cameron only, it'd be hard to keep him out. Would be a near lock for FF.

Would be neck and neck and perhaps ahead if he kicked straight. Not to mention the ones he completely missed e.g. the snap from 15m out against North for example.

Still 42.28 in 16 games with another 7 games to go, Mitch could kick 60+ minimum.

Not sure how Rozee can miss out to be honest. He has been exceptional. Also agree MG would deserve selection if he finishes top 2 in the leading goalkicker award. Butters is the iffy one - missed first 4 (?) games of season and midfielders are usually very deep. I would pick him as I am biased but the panel will lean towards players in finals teams. Can already pencil in Daicos, Bont, Richards, McCluggage, Holmes and Smith.

Maybe Butters makes it on the bench. Daicos and Richards as the followers, Bont in the Centre, McCluggage and Smith/Holmes on the Wing with the other on the bench. So you have two mids on the bench.

butters a little bit stiff dont u think?

career best year, currently 5th in coaches votes ahead of rozee (playing 3 less games), 2 votes behind dawson, 7 off from the leader.

butters missed 3 games not 4

also no way bont makes it, has been fantastic but not elite has missed 5-6 games.

Now that we are mathematically out of Finals contention, the club needs to base their selection policy purely on 2026 & beyond.

  • Anyone requiring surgery resulting in prolonged recovery time should be booked in now.
  • Veterans like Boak & soft c***s like Finny & Burton should only be selected as last resort measures.
  • Pump as many games into Berry, Lorenz, Lai & Evans as possible.

In: Anyone who won't be on the list next year, the old, then the inexperienced. Ken Hinkley.

Out: Anyone who is a part of Carrs plans for 2026, including Carr himself and any assistants.

Give Ken the clownshow he deserves.

Now that we are mathematically out of Finals contention
Mathematically means no chance, technically we could still make it. We wont, but we could. I don't reckon the club will go full rebuild mode yet for that reason, but they should.

Mathematically we could still finish 2nd, but the results required for that would probably be 1 trillion, billion to 1.

Hi folks. One of my opponents in a keeper league claims Zak Butters has suffered hamstring awareness. Is this true?

Stop playing Boak, give him a farewell with Hinkley later

Must play the likes of Moraes, Lorenz and even Berry.

These guys are going to get games next year, why not start now when the season is cooked?

To my knowledge as of last week he became aware of his knees. Ollie Wines is currently explaining to him what his quads are, and once he gets a handle on that he will start to get an awareness of his hamstrings also.

Id beware any port players at the moment. The plug is being pulled on the season.

Wtf is this? Rozee and Butters will both easily make the squad if they keep their form up. Look at the coaches votes.
