No point keeping him on the list this year if we aren’t going to play him even after a good game. That doesnt really make it any less ok to play Travis Croak

I'm still furious at Atkins' selection in the extended squad. Wtf was that idiot coach watching to make that call?
Oh my bad, I forgot that it was impossible to ever try to do something slightly better than how you're already doing itWe’ve given heaps of young players games this year

I hope not. That'd be terrible, selfish coaching all just so Donuts can walk away in 11th rather than 12th or 13th.Think no Evans spells the end of Bergman midfield for the year unfortunately.
When has playing an under 25 team ever been beneficial. The suns botched their entry in the afl by trying that but gws had much quicker results by mixing youth with some experience.Oh my bad, I forgot that it was impossible to ever try to do something slightly better than how you're already doing it
We kept him on the list this year when we thought we were going to be contenders. We're 4 games outside the 8.
You're embarrassing yourself. What are you even arguing here? Do you think resting 37 year old Travis Boak for one week while we play the 18th placed side at home would turn us into 2011 Gold Coast? When has playing an under 25 team ever been beneficial. I bought Jelly Babies from the Natural Confectionary Company. No green jelly babies. Give me a change up.Bought him a large party pack of Allen's?

Could go some Sherbies right nowThat's criminal. Although NCC green tastes more like apple than lime and that's just wrong.
Boak has played only 9 games this year and only 2 in a row so why does he need a rest. You're embarrassing yourself. What are you even arguing here? Do you think resting 37 year old Travis Boak for one week while we play the 18th placed side at home would turn us into 2011 Gold Coast?
Speak for yourself, im so keen, cant wait to get my hands on the Boak 401 shirt.A whopping 7 pages of changes and preview thread lol. We don't give a **** mayn.

Don't forget that tomorrow Kenny Hinkley will break the record for the most V/AFL games coached without making a Grand Final.Speak for yourself, im so keen, cant wait to get my hands on the Boak 401 shirt.![]()
Ken will end about 13 games short of 3rd all time most games coached without a flag. The current #3 got there after coaching at 5, YES 5 different clubs. Sacked 4 times, in the time Hinkley hasn't been sacked once.Don't forget that tomorrow Kenny Hinkley will break the record for the most V/AFL games coached without making a Grand Final.
Ken's done the best he can to achieve the title of shittest coach ever, and like everything else he'll fall short.Ken will end about 13 games short of 3rd all time most games coached without a flag. “Rest” is another way of saying “stop giving this guy games when he’s about to be delisted”Boak has played only 9 games this year and only 2 in a row so why does he need a rest.
We’ve got 3 forced changes, that’s enough.
Boak played well last week so deserve a game this weekend. Not sure what is so ridiculous about that.
Who are the three ahead of him? Isn't Hinkley already in outright 3rd place.Ken will end about 13 games short of 3rd all time most games coached without a flag. The current #3 got there after coaching at 5, YES 5 different clubs. Sacked 4 times, in the time Hinkley hasn't been sacked once.
Missed Ross LyonWho are the three ahead of him? Isn't Hinkley already in outright 3rd place.
1. Rodney Eade 377 games coached - 3 clubs, 358 H&A, 19 finals, 1 Grand Final
2. John Northey 315 games coached - 5 clubs, 295 H&A, 20 finals, 1 Grand Final
3. Kenny Hinkley 290 games coached - 1 club, 275 H&A, 15 finals, 0 Grand Finals
4. Bob Rose 282 games coached - 2 clubs, 268 H&A, 14 finals, 3 Grand Finals
Cheers
At some point you need some senior players to guide all these young guys on field. Not saying I disagree with you re not playing Boak, more that there has to be balance. Losing SPP and replacing him with Liddy, Lorenz, Jackson, etc makes us younger and less experienced. So maybe Boak gets another game because of that?“Rest” is another way of saying “stop giving this guy games when he’s about to be delisted”
We all love Boak but the season is done and so is his career
Completely pointless to gift him games over someone who actually might play in our next premiership
