It's not the 4 and 3 that shows it. It's some of their performances, if you'd watched them live, that you would've seen have been brilliant given the massive list of key outs they've had.

They're undoubtedly flying and should be favs. I would disagree with us being $3.14 outsiders though, odds should be a little closer. Our fade outs are probably seen as a huge weakness to the rest of the comp though and so probably fair enough until we can start playing 4 quarters of footy.

Watched them live? I've watched some of their games on TV, yes, or do you mean actually go to one of their games? If so, why would i do that.

I think the game against Brisbane in gather round, demonstrated that they are still very much a mixed bag. They went from 40 points up part way through the 3rd quarter to lose by 21. I also don't think they were very good against freo either, only scoring 12 goals from 63 inside 50's, and let freo kick 6 in a row in half a quarter, which ultimately proved the difference. the umps help keep them in that game too.

The follow up wins against opponents that i don't think are travelling well at the moment hasn't convinced that they are flying.

Just responding to a poster that rates you guys highly and providing some information on why i think we are a chance in a game not many are giving us a chance in. Are you seriously taking issue with that on a preview thread on an oppositions board?

We've strung some wins together now and got a bit of momentum going. Highly rated opponent getting lots of media attention. Shithole ground with no one watching. This is the type of game we typically pull a win out.

I don't mind this. He has the ability and just needs to re find the confidence. We are a better team when he is playing at his best and worst comes to worst Sinn comes back in the week after and he has had another exposure.

Yeah this is a good point, at the start of the year he was trying to play lieutenant to Farrell as backline distributor, which was a big step up from his role last year and means that play would often be channelled through him.

Now Farrell is Rozee's lieutenant and hopefully Evans can go back to a more accountable role that seems to suit him, and where any rebound he provides is a bonus.
