I’m not so sure.
Evans was our only rebounding defender available - that’s why he came in. He was poor so Sinn comes straight back in.
Berry seemed to get some confidence back at SANFL and is clearly highly rated. Hasn’t offered much defensively but would have kept him in with Rioli out. McEntee is our most experienced small forward available (that’s saying something!) so probably the choice if you aren’t sticking with Berry.
Moraes looked tired and needed a rest, rather than being out of form. Fair enough to bring him in after a rest. Lorenz should have stayed in, probably for Mead.
Jackson is an inside midfielder, has been injured and hasn’t been consistent. Not sure he deserves to be in the side just yet.

Jackson hasnt been injured his form has been good and he deserves a crack. Evans has been poor and they took a punt that he would come good, it didnt work, Lai was the form player at the time, unfortunately he got injured. Berry needed an extended run at sanfl , not one ok game. Moraes form had fallen away and Lorenz was the deserved call up. All in all poor or preferential player management and selections.

In all seriousness, we’re going in with a combination of players who are out-of-form or over-the-hill (Wines, DBJ, Burton, Finlayson), clearly not up to AFL standard (McEntee, Mead) or unproven and possibly not ready (Lord, Sinn, Moraes, Visentini). That doesn’t include average players (Ratugolea, Farrell, Jones).
That leaves Butters, JHF, Rozee, Bergman, Georgiades, Aliir, SPP, Burgoyne, Drew to somehow create a win.
It ain’t happening folks. Forget bottom 6, our bottom 14 are not good enough.

It’s an odd one. Don’t think Jackson is a small forward but know McEntee isn’t one.Against WWT, McEntee had 13 disposals and kicked 0.1 playing as a forward.
Jackson had 28 disposals and kicked 2.0.
Feels like Hugh could have had a run as sub or instead of Mead.
Take your pick, he should have played instead of Mead. Lorenz should be playing instead of Moraes. Just for the sake of selection integrity, you can't mount a case for Mead nor Moraes being selected ahead of Jackson and Lorenz. Then there's McEntee...................
