We've played Lachie Jones on Fogarty in the past. Although he's a couple centimetres shorter than Bergman, he's a few kilos heavier. And Fogarty just ragdolled Jones around. He's not going to struggle doing that to a lighter Bergman.Yeah that’s interesting.
I notice that Fogarty is only 3 cm taller but I know don’t what sort of weight difference there is. Perhaps they’ll go with Burton.
Have you seen Burton run???This all comes down to their key forwards. We are short down back. I cant see how at least one of them has a day out.
Burton in is ok. Get him to run with ANB or Keays

This has to be laid squarely at the feet of hinkly this no nothing destroyer is absolutely clueless. The stupidity at the top has destryoyed this club.Sad to see Travis Boakplaying seconds games record holder and club great but unfortunately as with Jonas Dixon Lycett no one could make a hard call on their careers and they spend their final season struggling to get a kick in the SANFLPLAYERCARDSTART10Travis Boak

Really the unique balance of speed and endurance if you ask meWhat did Port see in McEntee that they decided to draft him in the mid-season draft?
Even Kane Mitchell showed more talent with his "unique balance of speed and endurance".Really the unique balance of speed and endurance if you ask me
Kern also saw full forward in his eyes
Remember how we also drafted danny butcher and matthew westhoff for reasons? Then also got that dude Biemans over for the magpies because he was Boaks mate but a pretty average footballer? What did Port see in McEntee that they decided to draft him in the mid-season draft?
Wtf? Beimans wasn't average... he was literally one of our best SANFL contracted players at the time... (he also was never on the AFL listed so I dont even know why you'd mention him)Remember how we also drafted danny butcher and matthew westhoff for reasons? Haha we have never been serious.

It’s about Hinkley’s team balance.Seriously, I cannot fathom why Port would omit Lorenz after one week. He was solid and showed something. But no, they omit him. Jed McEntee gets picked despite having no form coming into the week. I would rather Berry's touches because he actually at least has class whereas McEntee just isn't an AFL footballer.
What does Hugh Jackson have to do to finally debut? 27 touches and 2 goals in a losing team. The midfield has been getting belted with contested ball and clearances and they need all the help they can get. What is the point of keeping him on the list if he can't break into the team? What was the point of resigning him for another 2 years if he cannot get a game with the midfield as it is?
Meanwhile, Jackson Mead still gets games when he has been average and vanilla as heck for the majority of his career. Ryan Burton is meh and does not want to defend or rather refuse to have any body contact with the opposition and Finlayson just does not put in the effort.
Rewarding mediocrity. Just perfect Port.
He is playing 4d chess unlike youse mere mortals. It’s about Hinkley’s team balance.
How could you forget when we gave young Ratkins a go when he was travelling emergency.
In round 6 against Sydney Atkins was originally named as an emergency but came in as sub when Joe Richards withdrew with an illness. Atkins was then subbed in to replace Wines who had a heart issue. When was that? I checked it out, but couldn't find it.
Atkins was:
- named Emergency in rounds 1, 2, 7, and 8;
- the sub in round 6; and
- omitted in rounds 3, 4, 5, and 9.

OUT: J Berry 5 (omitted)
I met him and had a hit with him when he was recording his show for the ABC at Uraidla. Even got in the footage lol. He's a lovely fella.I'm impressed with cricket writer Bharat Sundaresan take on what the Showdown means and why its still the best rivarly / grudge match in the AFL.
The AFL have employed Bharat to help explain footy to sub-continent immigrants mainly, but also other immigrants. He was all over the place for Gather Round. Its not a match preview, but he has interviewed past players and their showdown experience.
He was finishing off the article whilst touring Yorke Peninsula. He met a few people there aren't interested in the 2 SA teams.
He has said that his first Aussie Rules game was at Adelaide Oval - where else his favourite ground in the world - and it was the 2017 SANFL GF when Port lost to Sturt by a point and he didn't fully understand the game.
He would have been wearing his loud clothes and he said an elderly female Sturt supporter gave him a slap on the bum after the gum as she was in a good mood. He said that and the game got his attention to get to learn about the game and its culture.

Why the Showdown is still footy's biggest grudge match
From the Ramsgate to Houston's big hit, Mark Ricciuto, Chad Cornes and Charlie Dixon tell Bharat Sundaresan why Crows-Power clashes still set Adelaide alightwww.afl.com.au
