Theyre just picking the delist pile players as sub. It makes sense. Let all the other players get full games at SANFL level.

If McEntee is in the 22 people should melt. If he's a sub, then the melting is pointless.

Its better Lorenz gets a full SANFL game than 1 quarter of AFL.

Cant know for sure, no one does. But Im of the opinion like many on here that Hinkley favours certain players for whataver reason, clearly Jed is not an AFL calibre player.

Mc and mead have played..40, 50 games each and there's no upward trajectory. We know how good they are.
Lorenz, Liddy... 5 games. Barely got the pace of AFL. They might not be better than Mc or Mead (or Lord).. but they might be. That's the thing about when a season is over. Time to find out who you've got.

The selection of Jed being the tipping point for not watching the showdown sounds a bit dramatic, and probably a furphy.

He’s played one game this year, had one kick, his opponent Worrell who he was tagging had 23 and then he was subbed off unceremoniously.

His form at SANFL level hasn’t even been solid, it’s been out-and-out poor and at other SANFL clubs, he’d struggle to get a regular league birth.

In five weeks, he won’t be on Port’s list.

Paying $1.01 that whoever he has a negating role on Saturday absolutely gets off the chain, Jed is completely anonymous before inevitably getting yanked off again having contributed absolutely nothing.

It’s just a completely absurd selection anyway you spin it and whether it’s hyperbole or not, you can’t blame people for having a gutful of it and rightfully asking themselves why you’d bother consuming this garbage for the rest of the season even.

You are talking as if we haven’t played kids this year and mcentee and mead are old. They are 24 and 23. Liddy is the same age as Mead. And we’ve brought in a 19 year old Berry.

Liddy was terrible last weekend too. Mead v Lorenz is a coin flip for me and not worth getting worked up about.

I’m still scratching my head about lord playing in a forecasted deluge.
