They look too tall to me on paper, but maybe I'm too used to 4 on the bench.

I assume Murray takes the 5th bench spot and only plays about 45% TOG, whereas Port normally uses that low game time role for a midfielder.

To all you wrist slashers out there, roll the tape and listen in to these 2 segments by Champion Data's Daniel Hoyne last night on his regular SEN Tuesday 1hr segment.

• Port Adelaide are doing a fair bit right here.
• Port are the 3rd best team for turnover score.
• In 23 years of keeping the stats - they are the 3rd best team ( after 7 games) at defending ball movement .... as competition is getting easier to move the footy.

For me its about better defence, in particular team defence which is what Carr said he was going to bring to the club from the first day he was handed...
