Out: Rioli, McEntee
In: DBJ, Fantasia (Narkle if Fantasia is in fact injured)

We shouldn’t be doing any more than this. Clear best 22 players like Marshall and Wines, who may be down on form, simply have to be backed in this late in the season.

Statistically Hayes is in front of Visentini at this stage. In his only AFL game this year Sam Hayes had 10 disposals and 18 hit outs while in his only AFL game this year Dante Visentini had 4 disposals and 2 hit outs. Meanwhile in 4 games this year Teakle has averaged almost 21 hit outs and 10 disposals. While I do not think Teakle has any long term future as a AFL player on the stats he looks the best option if we decide to rest Lycett.

The question of course is how fit is Lycett? He looked cooked in last night's game and really looks like he needs 2 or 3 week's rest.

Our rucks are in a mess is an understatement.

The only way Lycett doesn't go around is fitness. We simply have no other option.

Gets another couple of weeks then Teakle can fill in for a couple of weeks.

That would leave Lycett 2 games then a break before finals.

I would delist Teatkle at season's end but lets be honest, Lycett is a catastrophic issue when he is playing right now. There is zero expectation with him to even win the hitouts or tap it to our mids. His only role is to 'nullify' the opposition ruck and apart from a game agaisnt English, he does a ****ing terrible job of it.

7 news reported Fantasia had quad tightness in the warm up and that was why he was withdrawn.

How true that is, who knows?

2 weeks for Rioli. Will they appeal?

MRO grading intentional, high contact and medium impact but reckon that medium impact is wrong. Was low impact exacerbated by Murphy's flop work.

I can't see them getting away with changing it from intentional to careless.

However there's zero doubt they could get away with low impact, but as it's high it'll be one at best.

Even though personally I think Murphy has clearly flopped playing for a free. Absolutely cops a scratching slap to the area just under the ear on the neck and goes down so softly. Happens on the street and you'd barely flinch and just go, what was that and move on.

Remember that due to the SANFL's pissant policies, if we have a fit AFL player he has to play in the SANFL if he's not playing AFL. So if we did pull Fantasia out to play against Adelaide this week, we would have to come up with some bullshit excuse like quad tightness to do so.
