How the fu** does Hrovat survive. Pathetic
He was a bit better than our other small forward turner. But we should be looking to get 2 good small forwards that should be able to kick 20+ goals a year minimum. But I agree hrovat should be out with turner but we don't really have a lot of small forwards. So they are lucky to keep their spots.

Just realized LDU not in... bit odd. A good game in the vfl but I'm assuming they will give him 1 more week in the seconds just to be sure he can find confidence. But it doesn't beat hrovat out and LDU in.

Is this mail or a prediction ?
Prediction. Shocked he didn’t come in for Hrovat. We’ll see if he’s the travelling emergency.
No Ahern or LDU means Shaw is worried about fatigue over the next couple weeks.
No way we keep the same team against West Coast.

Predictable changes, JMac saved by LMac, Wood and Higgo automatic changes for Ahern & Taylor.

As well as the above I think LDU should have replaced Rat who was ok, but his billion goal assists aside still had some horribly soft moments.

Any insight into who the traveling emergency will be? Just feel like we are a midfielder short.

Wouldn't mind seeding Durds go to Hipwood, Tarrant take McStay, and then Thompson can dominate Rayner.

LDU couldn't dislodge the Rat after dominating in the 2's....that's a worry.
I reckon Shaw has probably got the nod & he needs to get a look at some guys before he makes a call on them. LDU would be fully briefed by the brass on what's going on and where he's at under the circumstances.

Great ins for both sides. Our midfield should lift massively with higgo's inclusion. Wood, assuming he is genuinely primed and healthy, will do wonders as well.

Worried about their smalls in our back half but as long as we can pressure the ball coming out of the middle the talls should be able to mop up easily.

Jmac was guaranteed a spot the second luke's leg broke, real shame because luke has managed to quite alter his game recently and has been mostly mitigating his weaknesses well, while Jmac did all the awful things in the back half he's always done. Hrovat did pretty much what he always does as well; some really nice short/mid disposals to a target while being generally too slow and soft. Not thrilled with him being in, but you can't really say he had a bad game per se and I do still hold hope that Shaw might be able to instil and edge in him, plus we usually need all the silk we can get when it comes to forward entries. In theory he should shine more when we have midfield dominance.

Hrovat had high quality delivery inside fifty that set up four goals, that's why he stays.

Macmillan would be the obvious one for me, Horvat another.

Looking at the VFL side there is no obvious in for JMAC unless you drop him for a mid. The backline might be a bit top-heavy then. Rhyce has been with the the club the whole year, he should have a good read.
Jonathan Brown commented during the broadcast that Hrovat was not as hard as he could have been. Either him or Turner should have been dropped IMHO. Maybe they are on display as trade prospects though.

Jmac had to stay when McDonald got hurt. If he can play small it returns our defense to that optimal 3 small 3 tall structure

Pleasing to see that Shaw has made the call on Ahern. Guess we're past the days of gifting games

Wood back is nice as is Higgins
Is that why Hrovat is in?
