I'm going against the grain here and going to say the outs are good. Finally some sort of selection integrity. All three have been bad for weeks. Pity Oliver wasn't also an out.

The ins are another story, absolute garbage but that's our depth.

I am happy with Fritsch being dropped he only offers goal scoring and his form has been all over the place but not offering any goal scoring.

I am not so happy with JVR being dropped though, if they bring Tom Fullerton in then they need to play them together.

Turner is ok but as the third forward I feel.

Only just came to me but very funny that Fullarton is getting a game as our KPF/backup ruck with JVR out against Darcy and Jackson after Goody said he was a hopeless ruckman and thats why he didnt play him vs Freo last year.

Jacksdon not playing. Darcy has played 1 game and was pretty average.

Got no issue with JVR bring dropped just don't see the point of sticking with Slick for the first 4 weeks and dropping him after 2 better games now. What is the statement? Just seems like a guy shifting the blame for his terrible game plan/forward structure/scoring issues.

Nah. Goody is in a win/win - Either Fullarton plays well and he gets credit for selection, or Fullarton is rubbish and Goody tells the supporters "told ya so!".

Just like the coaches being on a two year delay on gameplan and tactics.

Dropping Fritsch after arguably his two best games of the season is so funny. We will be a better side without our best forward im sure. Nothing to do with how we use him for his form slump.

You're probably right. I just get put off quickly these days. Used to read through the thread to get the constructive thoughts but now it's a quagmire. Sorry for the negativity!

And Tholstrup straight in after little preseason? My god hasn't Goody and Co learnt any lessons from the past 2 or 3 years when rushing players back underdone?

The most galling of all is not dropping Sparrow, Viney, Spargo or Salem. Some favourites just get picked no matter what.

The thing we are never really privy to are the instructions the players have been given and how well they execute on them.

But if those four you named are following instructions and therefore retaining their spots, the instructions are perplexing.

I bet Fritsch got dropped because some footy show made an example of him blazing away instead of passing it. Meanwhile Goodwin ignores the multiple times Viney turns it over a game. Fritsch has been poor but Viney has been far worse. I thought tagging might be good for Sparrow but it's actually made him worse. Perhaps drop Sparrow and make Viney a tagger would be a better option.
