The conclusion has to be that when people have decided a player is shyte they stop believing the evidence of their eyes. They will see things that aren't there, blame him for anything that goes wrong in his vicinity and fail to see anything he does that is constructive.

Sounds similar to deciding you should have won a Grand Final and were cheated out of it. As time goes by, the belief becomes so strong that it’s accepted as gospel and any evidence to the contrary is completely ignored.

Not sure what games some were watching after seeing the replay.

Anyhow beauty is in the eye of the beholder !
If they think this bloke is not or shouldn’t be in the best 23 , then the list is in pretty good shape.

Thanks for clarifying, I misunderstood your initial post. I never step foot in game day threads haha

I believe the point stands on why some are calling to drop him though.

vdm has been great this year

I’m guessing you give out the compliment “great” often.
He has been better this year but he was coming from a bar about an inch off the ground.
Last nights snapshot. Stupid free kick, ridiculous kick into man on the mark.
Also ran extremely hard and gave off a smart underground handball that created a goal for us.
My point is for every good thing he does, he offsets with really bad errors. It happens every game, so not occasionally. That’s my issue.
